So much fun to have Elizabeth Kilgore Teal join us for this episode. If you've spent any time in the Tullahoma area, her maiden name will be familiar to you. She is a second-generation funeral director and a native of Tullahoma. Elizabeth talks with us about how the family business wasn't necessarily her career focus when heading off to college at first. Pam Carver joins us this episode with a great story of growing up in Iowa and becoming a nurse right out of high school. Now she has shifted her career path and is a Realtor here in the middle Tennessee area. The story of her career shift and that transition is a fun one. Dr. Michael Torrence is our guest here on episode 30. Dr. Torrence is the President of Motlow State Community College. He speaks with us about what Motlow has going on currently and what they are working on for its future. Episode 29 brings us Georges Martin, Chef, and owner-operator of Emil's Bistro and Lounge here in Tullahoma, Tn. Georges grew up in France with a passion for cooking at a young age. After moving to America he found work in the food industry in Atlanta for many years before moving to Tullahoma. Georges gives us many insights into the world of being a chef, as well as, how managing a restaurant during Covid brought about many challenges we still are seeing to this day.  We hope you enjoy this episode with Chef Georges Martin 

Episode 28 brings us TVA's very own ASL teacher Mrs. Monica McGee.  We discuss how American Sign Language was not her first choice in teaching out of college but how it found her. We also talk about what it was like growing up as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult) with both of her parents deaf. Part 2 of the John Olive two-part series is filled with his early 90's Tullahoma football arrival here with us, an awesomely hilarious mid-90's story about how sideline technology almost got John arrested DURING a football game, as well as us ending our conversation with the road to winning the 2021 TSSAA 4-A State Championship. We know you all will enjoy hearing this fantastic ending to this series. 

Episode 26 is part one of a two-part series with Tullahoma's Athletic Director and former head football coach and teacher John Olive. In part one we start with his upbringing in East Tennesee and the journey that leads to coaching at both the high school and college levels at various schools. We learn about her love of drawing and sewing as a child to now working with some of the top designers in the world on such shows as Project Runway and MTV's Siesta Key. This episode with Stefanie is a fascinating journey through the difficult world of fashion design and her resilience through personal circumstances and rediscovering her passion and creativity. 

In this episode we are joined by Coach Andy Lyon, the head girls soccer coach at Motlow State Community College. Andy was born and raised in Nottingham, England and found his way to the U.S. coaching youth soccer with the MLS Soccer Camps.
