They're considering how it has shaped their lives in a student-led forum at Southern Illinois University Carbondale tonight. Franklin Kimmell, a fourth year doctoral student and Assistant Introductory Course Coordinator for the school of communication studies is organizing the discussion.

The "My Life in a Bag Foundation" is a non-profit organization, working to give those kids their dignity back and they need your help this weekend. Founder and CEO Charles “Bizkitt” Smith joins Megan Lynch in-studio. The foundation is hosting its third annual fundraising gala featuring a gallery of art by local foster children and music by DJ Charlie Chan, a St. Louis hip-hop legend and personal DJ for the legendary Run-DMC.
