Foundation helps kids in foster system with their belongings
The "My Life in a Bag Foundation" is a non-profit organization, working to give those kids their dignity back and they need your help this weekend. Founder and CEO Charles “Bizkitt” Smith joins Megan Lynch in-studio. The foundation is hosting its third annual fundraising gala featuring a gallery of art by local foster children and music by DJ Charlie Chan, a St. Louis hip-hop legend and personal DJ for the legendary Run-DMC.
The gala will take place on Saturday November 8th from 5pm to 9pm at the Paul F. Detrick Building at Christian Northeast Hospital, located at 11133 Dunn Rd in St. Louis.
