Dr Suhina Singh is a physician, chronic disease warrior and former pharma medical director that has experienced the challenges of health data fragmentation first hand. Born in South africa and based in singapore, she has not only lost a family member to cancer but suffers from autoimmune conditions herself. Suhina is determined to help address these health data challenges through Jonda Health, a health tech company she co-founded and leads. The company aims to unlock the power of health data to improve health outcomes and advance medicine with privacy and security by default, through its secure AI health data harmonization and management solution.

Having grown up during apartheid South Africa and studied medicine in Afrikaans (a language she could barely speak), Suhina is always up for a challenge and prides herself in being resilient in the toughest of times. Her curious nature, has led to over 15 years of experience in different roles ranging from clinical practice, medical advisory and operations to data-driven marketing and digital innovation.

Suhina was one of the top 30 participants of the Thousand Faces Female Founders Accelerator Program, and was among the top 6 finalist of the Thousand Faces Awards in 2023.

beth won first place in the Thousand Faces Female Founders Awards 2023 out of +200 candidates.

She is a Professor in the School of Computing Technologies, the co-Deputy Director of RMIT Centre for Information Discovery and Data Analytics, and an Associate Investigator of ARC Centre of Excellence in Automated Decision Making and Society.

She is the inaugural CISCO Chair of Digital Transport, School of Computer Science and Engineering, UNSW Sydney. She serves as a member of various boards of very highly recognized institutions such as the Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts.

Her research sits in the cross-cutting areas of ubiquitous computing, machine learning, and data science, with specific interests on time-series and spatio-temporal data; representation learning of spatio-temporal and mobility behaviours; and data-efficient learning with multimodal sensor data.

She received the Women in AI Awards 2022 Australia New Zealand in the Defence and Intelligence category.

Ramona Vijeyarasa is a lecturer, author, and human rights activist. She is the Chief Investigator behind the Gender Legislative Index. She is also a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law and the Juris Doctor Program Head at the University of Technology Sydney.

Her international human rights activism has included, advancing anti-trafficking victim reintegration networks in Vietnam and Ukraine, filing briefs before the European Court of Human Rights, the Supreme Court of Moldova, and the Supreme Court of the Philippines, and managing multi-country programs to advance women’s reproductive rights and freedom from violence.

Ramona was the 2020 Women’s Leadership Institute Australia Research Fellow. She was the winner of the Women in AI Law Awards, and the 2nd Runner-up for the Innovator of the Year for the Women in AI AWARDS 2022 Australia NZ.

Camille Goldstone-Henry is a wildlife scientist, and the Founder and CEO of Xylo systems, a tech biodiversity startup. She is a descendent of Kamilaroi, which is the second largest nation on the eastern coast of Australia, indigenious tribes.

As an experienced wildlife conservation manager, she has worked with the world's most endangered species, including the Tasmanian devil and Sumatran tiger.

In 2020 she built a cloud-based platform to connect, track and manage conservation projects. The platform aggregates data from various sources and provides insights into some of these conservation projects so that decision makers can optimize resources. Camille is on a mission to turbocharge wildlife conservation globally.

She is the Women in AI trailblazer 2022 and Winner of the women of the future 2021 awards.

Dr Yun Sing Koh is an associate professor at the School of Computer Science, The University of Auckland. Her main research area is Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Specifically, she focuses on three major research strands: continual learning and adaptation, anomaly detection, and data stream mining. She is passionate about using machine learning for social good, and her research has been applied to interdisciplinary applications in environment and health domains.
To date, she has published 100+ peer-reviewed publications in top conferences and journals, including IJCAI, IEEE ICDE, IEEE ICDM, Machine Learning Journal and Journal of Artificial Intelligence. She won the New Zealand Royal Society of Fast-Start Marsden funding (2018) and the United States Office of Naval Research Grant (2019).
