Episode 12: We're All Racist finds Steve and Sarah in their last recording. They discuss how the music industry in Canada is dominated by White folks, how White folks are currently and historically the terrorists in the world we live in and the historic roll RCMP have played in the colonization of Canada. The two also explore how White folks love nice minorities, some racist comments Steve made and how we are all conditioned to be racist.

Episode 11: Looking Inward, Steve and Sarah go deeper inside themselves to discuss some challenging topics. They touch on the Isriele's colonial occupation of Palastinian land, how colonialism abroad is much more easy to engage with rather than here at home, how White skinned/minded folks use false vulnerability to protect themselves and how true growth is only achieved through genuine vulnerability. The two also touch on how Africa developing it's own currency threatens White European global supremacy and how kindness and niceness are different things.

In Episode 10: Vulnerability, Sarah brings up some of the challenges she’s been experiencing when bringing Steve’s Whiteness to his attention. The two also explore a phone call Steve had with a White friend of his who blatantly disagreed with the content of The WLMA Podcast and contrasted this call with other responses from “nice White people” who claim to agree and appreciate the podcast. They also talk about how the disconnects we feel with other people (such as race) represent disconnects with ourselves and how there is an aspect of violence to writing people off who are racist.

In Episode 9: Permission, Steve and Sarah get a chance to catch up, after three episodes with a guest, and Steve is in hot water. Do White people need permission to interrupt someone’s racism, especially another White person? In order to let go of oppressive hierarchies we have internalized, do we need to be reconditioned or is the solution something else? Does niceness trap White people from interrupting racism as well as non-White folks? In Episode 9: Permission, Steve and Sarah explore these questions and more.
