The Squeeze
Taylor Lautner
133 episodes

When life gives you lemons, what do you do with them? Over here at The Squeeze—we talk about it—"it" being our mental health and well being. Host Taylor Lautner's (no, not that guy, but she is married to that guy) introduction to mental health was at a young age, witnessing friends and family suffer in ways she couldn't fully understand. She started a nursing career in the peak of the pandemic and has been struggling with her own mental health ever since. Tay is joined co-host, husband Taylor Lautner, in addition to celebrity and expert guests to further the conversation surrounding mental wellness. At the end of the day, we're all pretty similar; even those living in the lime-est of lights can be weighed down by sour lemons. In addition to sharing coping strategies and stories, we hope that above all, this podcast offers the comfort of knowing you are not alone.

Brianne Howey: Grief, Growth & Georgia
In this week’s episode, the Lautners are joined by actress Brianne Howey! Brianne opens up about where her passion for acting began, her time studying at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and the shared connection she and Taylor have from appearing on Scream Queens. She shares how becoming a mom has transformed her approach to mental health and self-care, especially while juggling a demanding filming schedule far from home. Brianne reflects on losing her own mother to cancer at 21, how that loss shaped her, and what it’s been like to now raise a child herself. She also talks about her therapy journey, the moment she knew she’d found the right therapist, and the advice she’d give to new or future parents. Plus, she gets candid about being part of Ginny & Georgia (a show that doesn’t shy away from topics like anxiety, abuse, and self-harm), how filming season 3 differed from earlier seasons, and whether playing Georgia has brought healing in unexpected ways. Morgan Simianer: Raised by Resilience
In this week’s episode, Tay is back for another girl-talk conversation, this time with Netflix's Cheer star Morgan Simianer! Morgan kicks things off by sharing how she met her husband, their engagement story, what she’s loving most about married life, and her favorite moment from their wedding day. Chad Franke: Freed
In this week’s episode, the Lautners are joined by Chad Franke for a conversation about growing up on YouTube as part of the massively followed family channel 8 Passengers, created by his mom, Ruby Franke. Chad opens up about the early days of vlogging, when the channel began to take off, and what it was like having his childhood shared with millions. He reflects on how personal struggles were often turned into content, and how the shift from casually being on camera to having moments staged for engagement began to affect him. Chad talks about the #FreeChad movement, sparked by concerns over his living situation, and what it was like watching the Hulu docuseries Devil in the Family for the first time. He also shares about the last time he spoke to his mom, the letters she’s sent, his relationship with religion and God, and the gradual realization that what was happening wasn’t okay. Chad discusses his close bond with his siblings and dad, his current relationship with social media, and why he’s committed to keeping his future children offline. Christina Perri: A Story of Resilience
This week, the Lautners are joined by singer and songwriter Christina Perri! Christina starts from the very beginning, sharing what led her parents to seek therapy for her at just eight years old, what those early sessions looked like, and how she felt about it all at such a young age. She reflects on the unhealthy coping mechanisms that developed in her late teens and early twenties, her struggles with drugs and alcohol, what ultimately led her to choose sobriety, and offers powerful advice for anyone dealing with addiction or facing the fear and shame of relapse. She also walks us through the whirlwind of when “Jar of Hearts” took off after airing on So You Think You Can Dance and how it catapulted her career. From there, we explore her journey through motherhood—navigating postpartum depression, miscarriage, and stillbirth—and how she approached those conversations with her daughter. Christina opens up about grief, the toll child loss can have on a marriage, and what’s helped her heal. The Squeeze
