When life gives you lemons, what do you do with them? Over here at The Squeeze—we talk about it—"it" being our mental health and well being. Host Taylor Lautner's (no, not that guy, but she is married to that guy) introduction to mental health was at a young age, witnessing friends and family suffer in ways she couldn't fully understand. She started a nursing career in the peak of the pandemic and has been struggling with her own mental health ever since. Tay is joined co-host, husband Taylor Lautner, in addition to celebrity and expert guests to further the conversation surrounding mental wellness. At the end of the day, we're all pretty similar; even those living in the lime-est of lights can be weighed down by sour lemons. In addition to sharing coping strategies and stories, we hope that above all, this podcast offers the comfort of knowing you are not alone.

Jameela Jamil: What The Frick?
In this week’s episode, Tay is joined by actress, activist, and podcast host Jameela Jamil for another girl-talk conversation! Jameela starts off by sharing how she got her start as a professional DJ before landing her first-ever scripted role on NBC’s The Good Place. She talks about the adjustment to being in the spotlight, how she’s managed to stay grounded despite the pressure to change in the entertainment industry, and gets candid about her experiences with cancel culture, body image struggles, and her past battles with disordered eating and anorexia. She opens up about what healing has looked like for her—including her journey with therapy and EMDR—and how those experiences inspired her to launch Move For Your Mind, a mental health movement focused on making exercise more accessible and less image-driven. Jameela also dives into the idea behind her new podcast Wrong Turns, why she believes in sharing our most cringeworthy mistakes, and how creating space for imperfection can be deeply therapeutic. Plus, she reflects on a wrong turn of her own and what she’s most proud of today! Be sure to follow Jameela on https://instagram.com/jameelajamil/!
