Aurrente makes into the palace to warn the most powerful people in the world of their impending death but is he too late? Attending another grand ball Aurrente has a brief but important conversation with some very important people and perhaps utterly destroys his career. Ciro Aurrente finds himself back in his own apartments after being freed by the Brotherhood and decides to drop the matter of his colleague’s murder, until Captain Vasker shows up at his door. Also featuring a diary entry of the arrival Barish Chancellor Roe Hadrias to Corraban and an article on the Northern Expansion Company, the partner in Barist’s empire building who acted with utter ruthlessness. The episode starts with a diary entry from Captain Chloe Vasker, explaining some of the history of her country, Hanniria, and what their violent revolution has meant to her and what her people are now doing in Corraban. Aurrente heads into the half-completed underground railway system that runs under the city of Corraban in search of the people who killed Marray.
