#37 Stuart Camps ON: Natural contemplation and the innate wisdom of animals

This episode with Stuart Camps is the kind of esoteric conversation I love, where there isn't a beginning, middle or end.

Stuart grew up in tribal New Guinea, and was committed to rock climbing in his younger years as a process of self understanding and exploration. He moved to California for 25 years to work with animals, where he was introduced to the concept of natural contemplation.

He shares his vast experiences with animals: from inspiring horse training stories demonstrating how to relate to animals differently, to fascinating observations of herd dynamics.

This episode offers a snapshot of Stuart's book, Lightning, thunder, cows as he shares deeply interesting spiritual concepts, masterfully told through a series of anecdotal tales from the wild.

I hope you feel less fear, and more free, after you listen to this episode. I definitely did!

#36 Jaguar Heart ON: How to spot a narcissist, integrating the unconsciousness, and finding peace in your relationship

Today’s episode is one of my favourites. The most mistakenly maligned men's coach, Jaguar Heart, joins me in the studio to share his powerful insights and experiences and how they have made his coaching approach so effective.

We begin this episode unpacking narcissistic personality disorder; what to look out for, our personal experiences with narcissists, and how to heal after experiencing their manipulation tactics.

Jaguar shares his comprehensive spiritual knowledge rooted in ancient stoicism, explaining the practical process of merging the conscious and unconscious minds in order to tap into your innate power and potential.

And of course, we challenge the mainstream narrative and delve into masculine and feminine roles within a partnership, and what it takes to show up in our current society as a high value male, or as we would prefer to say; a high virtue male.

I’m very excited for you to hear this episode, tell me what you think in the comments!

#35 Blake Thompson ON: Doing the work, so your kids don’t have to

Today on The Pete Isaia Podcast, I sit down with the renowned high-performance coach Blake Thompson, whose expertise spans relationships, mindset, and lifestyle.

Blake and I are both new fathers, which naturally led us into a powerful conversation about “doing the work” so our kids don’t have to.

Together, we reflect on the abuse and dysfunction we experienced in our own families growing up and how those early wounds shaped our views on love, relationships, and parenting, and what it takes to break those cycles.

Blake opens up about the deep healing journey he committed to before stepping into fatherhood, and how his partnership became a catalyst for transformation.

This episode dives into generational trauma, abusive patterns, and addiction within the home, but also the possibility of rewriting your story and creating a healthier legacy for the next generation.

#34 Vanessa ON: Taboo conversations about death and grief

In this episode a graduate of my SHADOWBOXING™ Mastery course, Vanessa, joins me in the studio to discuss a very taboo topic in our Western society; death.

Having lost her father 10 years ago, Vanessa reveals some insightful truths about grief and expands on her relationship with death.

And of course we consider the topic from a shadow work perspective, exploring what our relationship with death means and how it shapes our experiences.

I also share stories from my time as a nurse, and the individuals I met that influenced my perspective of death and dying.

This episode lovingly explores a topic often avoided, but it may hold some triggering conversations for some listeners. Please feel free to skip this episode.

#33 Renate de Koker ON: Nature's healing power and the wisdom of the body

Today I welcome the wonderful Renate de Koker in the studio to share her wisdom on the Pete Isaia Podcast.

Our conversation starts with the story of meeting on a sailing boat and the many conversations we shared while on night watch.

Renate shares her wisdom about the innate healing power of Mother Nature, drawing from her lived experiences and ancient knowledge. She shares how trauma acts as stuck energy within the body, manifesting as physical symptoms holding us back from authenticity and healing.

Together, we also look at how these ideas sit within our current political landscape, and why a healthy dose of scepticism is vital in today’s shifting world.

This conversation is for anyone seeking to reconnect with nature, honour the body’s intelligence, and step closer to genuine healing.

#32 Jon Laurenson ON: Shadow Work, Business and Starting Over

Jon opens up about going bankrupt twice, his health battles, and the personal shame that came with them. He shares how stepping away from business left him more lost than ever, and how it forced him to take a hard look inward. Through SHADOWBOXING™ Mastery, he began to see the parts of himself he used to be ashamed of, not just as problems, but as strengths that needed refining, not rejecting.

In this episode we explore the dark side of perfectionism and the high cost of success, the hidden emotional weight of chronic illness and masculine stigma, how stillness, surfing, and shadow work opened the door to real self-acceptance, and finally, why so many high-achievers lose themselves without a mission - and how to rebuild one from within.

Whether you're an entrepreneur, a creator, or someone navigating your own version of rock bottom, this episode is a testament to the power of introspection, purpose, and emotional courage.

If you’re curious about SHADOWBOXING™ and the transformation it offers, Jon’s story is living proof of what’s possible when you stop running from your shadow, and learn to fight with it, not against it.

#31 Allie Ackland ON: Psychedelic healing through a psychologist’s lens

This has been the most intelligent conversation about psychedelics I've had.

Today on The Pete Isaia Podcast, I’m joined by Allie Ackland, a registered psychologist, clinical hypnotherapist, and published author with a deep interest in the integration phase of psychedelic work.

Allie has sat with Amazonian tribes, studied the use of non-ordinary states for healing, and is trained in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.

We speak on legalising psychedelics, why good people must sometimes disregard bad laws, and the importance of integration, the often-missing link in modern psychedelic use. Allie’s book, The Psychedelic Integration Journal, offers a structured, accessible approach for those navigating these powerful experiences.

This is a conversation for anyone who is interested in exploring psychedelics mindfully, responsibly, and in service of healing.

A storm has slightly affected the quality of this audio, but the conversation was too valuable to discard! I hope you gain as much wisdom and knowledge as I did.

#22 Shadow work, ayahuasca ceremonies and police raids

Today on The Pete Isaia Podcast, I welcome my dear friend and SHADOWBOXING™ Graduate, Nicholas X Morley into the studio for an exciting and raw conversation.

In this episode Nick explains why the SHADOWBOXING™ course was “better than 10 Ayahuasca ceremonies”. Nick is a prime example of the potential we all have to improve our lives, if we choose to face our shadow.

But first - Nick recounts his colourful life story, beginning as a hairdresser and then coming onto the high-end fashion scene in the US, he’s started several successful businesses and owned crucial roles in the industry, making quite a name for himself.

He offers some insight into a recent documentary in which he co-starred and produced, about medical cannabis. The film follows Nick and his friend as they pioneer a field ahead of the medical industry, breaking the law to serve their community. Nick shares how they provided pain management for cancer patients, people with chronic pain, epilepsy and parkinson's disease before people could get scripts for medical cannabis.

Following this conversation we discuss the health benefits of CBD and how it has the potential to significantly improve so many lives. We also dive into psychedelic exploration and integration, and how it can be closely compared to shadow work.

And finally, Nick shares how SHADOWBOXING™ has completely transformed several aspects of his life. In the past Nick was considered a functioning alcoholic, addicted to cigarettes, prone to toxicity in relationships, and even accused of being a narcissist. During the course he was able to gain control of ALL aspects himself, and by learning how to take better care of himself he felt in control of his life for the first time ever.

Upon completion of my course, he has completely given up smoking, significantly decreased his alcohol consumption, transformed his life outlook, and channelled his behaviour so he can truly express himself authentically.

This episode holds so much information and inspiration - tune in now!

#19 Don’t look at the addiction, look at the trauma

Today I welcome the brilliant Psychologist Micha Lerner into the studio to have a comprehensive conversation surrounding psychedelics, psychology, and their place within the human experience.

Micha has previously lectured at Bond University, researched psychedelic therapy and held a position as a psychologist at the world's most prestigious and elite private drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre; The Sanctuary, Byron Bay. Now he spends his time travelling around the world offering psychological series to private clients, working on his PhD in psychedelic research, surfing, and spending time around family.

We begin this conversation by diving into the psychology behind addiction. Micha shares his professional experience working with patients recovering from serious addictions and explains why an individual turns to addiction, overcoming its difficulties, and what he perceives the most effective treatment plan to be.

We dive deep into how MDMA and Psychedelic Assisted Therapy affect the brain of an individual experiencing complex trauma and PTSD. Relating to how our current sense of self is derived from our ego and its anthesis that develops from childhood, and how certain drugs can entirely reframe our perception of our own identity, and our reality.

The conversation leads us to ancient civilizations and tribes that have experimented and integrated animal and plant substances with psychedelic properties, and how humans have even observed animals with the same curiosity to experience unexplored states of consciousness.

We tie the conversation together by reflecting on our place in the modern world and how we must choose to navigate our reality with the tools and knowledge we have on offer.

The themes discussed in this episode offer deep reflection and thinking - enjoy and send this to someone that could resonate with the episode.
