Lettering artist and Flight Attendant Dustin Hay joined me today on The Path of Me. We talked about the importance of believing in yourself, and how it leads to new beginnings, his daily gratitude practice, and learning to love yourself. It was a great conversation between old friends and a joy for me. He offered a great exercise that helped him truly love himself; take a dry-erase marker and write on the bathroom mirror, I love you because..... (fill in the blank). It was hard for him at first, but eventually he felt the love.
He was also vulnerable enough to share his sobriety journey and how memory was the biggest gift. He can now, through presence and memory, share and support others on their own path.

This January is the Year of the Snake in the Chinese Zodiac. This is a year of intuition, intelligence, creativity, and knowledge. I felt the energy of Integration for the Month of January and throughout the year.
Last year was about A LOT of letting go and confronting things within us that are no longer aligned. It was emotional, it was challenging and some people are still nursing a 2024 hangover. Now it's time to begin to integrate all those aspects of self even the unsavory parts that got us here. We've been navigating so much internally and this year is truly about breaking those patterns and inviting things in that are aligned.

The year of the Wood Dragon 2024 was a one in a 12 year Chinese Zodiac Cycle. It was powerful because Wood Dragon years are about starting fresh, which offers periods of challenges and growth. 2024 was a year of renewal, change, and rebirth. It was about embracing change and burning old habits. Some challenges you may have faced in 2024 are anger, drama and intensity of emotions, inflexibility, abuse of power, and burnout. All of our experiences have strong energetic impacts on our lightbody and energy field as well as our physical biology. That energy has to go somewhere right? So with that said, I created a Virtual Workshop called The Reset to help you clear the year energetically, take a deep Soul dive into the lessons and truths rising, and offering an energetic reset for 2025. She's a Singer, Songwriter, Recording Artist, Music Producer, and does Fine Art Photography. We sat down for a Soul to Soul conversation and covered so many topics. We talked about the journey of the Empath and how it has changed; Everyone is responsible for their own healing now. It's not the Empath's responsibility to absorb and transmute other's density and trauma. The world is in a time of transition and change. Michelle honored her knowing and left a lucrative corporate job. She had "it all" the money, car, all the things, and she knew she had to make a change. She realized this wasn't what really mattered in life. All life experience is a lesson for us. Honoring our truth and knowing brings our highest and best outcomes. Not everyone is choosing the higher path, and that is OK, but we expect a large number of people will exit due to the energetic discordance as the planet holds higher and higher frequency. Clearing and transmuting Ancestral Trauma is incredibly difficult. To break the patterns for your entire Ancestral line is intense and sacred work, but very once in awhile that rare person comes along with the courage and strength to do it and it heals forward and back along the timelines. Artist Candice Alexander joined me for a great conversation about the evolution of her art this past year. We talked about her victory passing a bill turned into law protecting the elderly against contractor fraud. Her own experience with criminals Bobby Spoonermore and wife Dawn Bertrand and son Hayden Spoonermore in a basic home painting job gone bad alerted her to the problem. She took matters into her own hands to investigate and draft the bill herself!
Then we discussed her deep dive into a very vibrant and meaningful series of biblical figures and images which struck the hearts of many of her supporters. She was inspired looking at a stained glass window and the light in a cathedral in Florida and within an hour a priest had commissioned a piece with all the elements she envisioned!
Fast forward to this fall where she watched the historic Capital One Tower fall just blocks from her studio. She managed to get her hands on a couple buckets of glass salvaged from that building and embarked on a jewelry making journey. Turns out it had been a childhood dream of hers to design and make jewelry and here the opportunity and timing was just right. So she has gone deep into creating with the glass and semi precious stones, sparking a creative streak just in time for the Red River Revel Festival in Shreveport, Louisiana.
