What do you bring to the table? Is going 50/50 okay in a relationship?
What are deal breakers during the dating stage?
Is it okay for a woman to show a man interest or "shoot her shot"?
These are a few questions of many that we discussed on today's show. The explanations from everyone was AMAZING!

Happy Friday everyone! On Freestyle I discussed a Bible plan that a friend and I are reading. The title of it is 21 days of Rightful Relationships by Kemberely Washington. Please read this as it tells you the right way to seek a relationship with your future significant other. It is very eye opening as well. Are YOU in the right relationship? Are YOU seeking God first before seeking said relationship?
I also asked the question from a FB post: Why do men hold onto women they don't want a relationship with? Tune in now and check out my response to this.

It has been a great week and I hope you all have been doing great as well.
Check out this episode as I discuss what my purpose is as man. I hope that we all can dig deep and find out what yours is as well. Know the reason why you are here on this Earth and be a blessing to others. I
also brought up a question asking is social media the reason why people think they are settling these days. Are standards too high due to what we view or see on social media?

It was a great honor to interview my long time friend, Colby Walker. Mr. Walker is seeking to win a special election on October 5th, 2021 in Canton, MS. He won the race in May of this year but things did not go well as we all hoped for.
Mr. Walker discussed his plans for not only the people in his Ward but for the city of Canton as a whole.
He is also very determined to make a change and be a positive leader for everyone.
Tune in and check out this great interview.
**I do apologize for the technical difficulties.**
Today on Freestyle Friday, I discussed the importance of women doing for their men. Especially when it comes to surprise dates, vacations or gifts. Men are often taught not to accept things like this from a woman when in reality, we like these things as well.
I also discussed knowing your partner's love language in order to love them correctly. This could definitely benefit the relationship as well.
Tune in and let me know what you think.

Today's show was very informative as I spoke with my guest, Curtis Jones. Curtis is a Financial Consultant for Legacy Builders Financial with over 6 years of experience. Tune into this episode as we discuss insurance, credit and the importance of financial freedom.
When it comes to life insurance we have to make sure that our loved ones do not have to deal with the financial burden. Life insurance can also assist with generational wealth as well. If you have credit questions and/or concerns.
This episode is for you as well. Especially if you are needing to increase your score for that new house or car.

It's FREEstyle Friday on the Myron J. Show and today I decided to discuss "Cutting Season". Cutting season is for people that are moving on and past negative things and/or people.
If you are experiencing anything or anyone that is not serving you any purpose, cut it or them off. Life is all about peace and being happy with yourself. There are people that love misery but we have to let them go in order to grow.

This episode was AMAZING, full of great advice and laughter.
Self-care within our relationships is very important. We must always remember to take care of ourselves just as we did in the beginning of the relationship.
My guest Delila House, Leadership & Mentorship Coach and Published Author discussed 3 steps to self-care.
1. Physically - maintaining your health (exercising, eating healthy, skin care etc). This only applies to those who are into this section.
2. Mentally - having inner peace and being happy without assistance from others. Always loving yourself, first.
3. Spiritually - keeping God in the midst of it all, prayer, fasting and etc.
We also discussed what self-care looks like before the dating/relationship phase. We must keep ourselves intact and not be content. Just because we have the person that we prayed for, doesn't mean we have to stop loving ourselves.
Along with the mental portion, we discussed counseling as well. We must make sure that we are healed before dating and during the relationship or marriage.

Today I decided to discuss domestic violence and toxic love. I have experienced both and I wanted to share my past experiences with the world. There is no reason for anyone to put their hand on you nor speak to you in a negative way. We all need to learn how to control our emotions and seek therapy.
Know that love is NOT toxic, abusive or negative. Love is peaceful, happiness, calm and amazing. We're always measuring love or that someone cares about us by their toxic ways or actions towards you. We have made it so normal that when life is good with our significant other, we think something is wrong . Healthy relationships are REAL and it's possible!
I hope you all will share my story with someone that needs it. Be blessed!

We were literally on FIRE with this episode on the Myron J. Show! It was amazing to have my guest Twyla Marks on today's show. Twyla is a Certified Life Coach, Author and Speaker. She coaches clients with their life AFTER divorce (How to get your HAPPY back!)
We all understand how important it is to make sure that the kids come first. To also leave our personal feelings out of the issues we have with our ex-spouses. This is one topic that we discussed today and it was great section. Divorce is not always bad but what is bad, is showing your child(ren) the wrong way to love. You are also creating generational curses. So as parents we have to do better and be better.
Effective communication is key and we cannot move forward without it. Lack of communication will cause major issues when it comes to sharing custody with your ex-spouse. Twyla and I also discussed the reason(s) for divorce, why people are leaving their spouses and how can people successfully be co-parenting.

Freestyle Friday is all about discussing different and random topics. Topics that are important and can change one's perspective on certain issues.
Today on the Myron J. Show, I had a few topics that I wanted to discuss with you all. I started off by asking/answering the question. What do men want when it comes to dating or relationships?Although I do not speak for all men, I am sure some would agree.
I then went on to discuss the division in this country. Division within racism, politics, mask/unmasked and vaccinated/unvaccinated. Discussing our preference within ourselves, the LBGTQ+ community and more. We must respect each other's decisions and agree to disagree!

God put the title of this book on my heart 3 1/2 years ago. I told him not to allow me to write it until I am better mentally and/or healed. THIS was part of my healing process.
HE woke me up at 3am back in August. All I heard was “Write your book”. I got up, grabbed my laptop and wrote 5 pages. This same voice came a few days (or week) later and told me the same message again. I got up and wrote 5 more pages. I’ve prayed, fasted, and written a lot down for this book and my journey. I was up many nights working on this book (off and on).
This is my TESTIMONY! Just because you have made a mistake in the past, doesn’t mean you can’t be an advocate for it NOW! Although I am a private person, this had to be done. What we go through isn’t always for us, but to help someone else. I pray that it blesses someone.

I decided to start Freestyle Friday and discuss different and/or random topics. These HOT topics may come from social media or how I am feeling during that day and time.
Today I am discussing: Should two people that are possibly interested in each other, talk everyday (text/call etc) or should it be every other day. Me personally I would love to talk daily due to it showing interest and being consistent. It also allows you to learn more about that person as well. But on a video on tiktok, a handful of people disagreed.
Another topic I discussed is: What do men/women bring to the table and why does that questions is always asked. I'd rather spend a couple of days getting to know that person first. During that time, you will find your answer depending on the conversation.
