Word of Wisdom (from Black Skin Says, an original poem by Aneesah Lawrence):

Welcome to The Melanin Hijabi Podcast! Ramadan Mubarak! This episode is led by our host, Aneesah, alongside special guest Elijah Pittman. In today's episode, we spoke about Ramadan and as the title entails, our experiences as young Black Muslims. Elijah provided this episode with a perspicacious outlook, especially with his dialogue on the term "Black Muslim" and whether or not it stands as a defining term or one used as a way to sow division.
Although we are on our third guest episode, today's talk was by far the most natural/genuine. So like say on any guest episode, grab a seat, get some popcorn, connect your headphones, and enjoy listening to today's conversation on Ramadan and life as a Black Muslim from the perspective of two young Black Muslims.
