Anything and everything fitness related is on the table. I have open discussions with those active in the fitness industry, especially those who are heavily in the science based side of training and nutrition. I approach these conversations from a background in bodybuilding, strength sports, and action sports, giving these conversations an interesting spin from the typical bro chat. So sit down and take notes because class is in session.

MASS CLASS PODCAST | Episode 4 | Hunter Pauley

Welcome back to another episode! Today we have a conversation with Hunter Pauley, a registered dietician, competitive natural bodybuilder, and all around sick guy. We discuss in depth what to do post contest prep when it comes to recovery and how to deal with body dysmorphia. We use our own experience as well as the current research and what we have seen to mold our opinions of when the reverse diet and recovery diet is more applicable. We end on a conversation about music choice while lifting, and talk a little bit about how it can affect our performance.

MASS CLASS PODCAST | Episode 2 | Landon Horst - Contest Prep Mistakes and Horror Stories

In episode 2 of The Mass Class Podcast, my guest is Landon Horst and we talk about the differences between natural bodybuilding and those who chose to use PED's. We talk a little bit about the whole "fake natty" debate and get into the common mistakes that people make when starting a contest prep. We close out the podcast with some horror stories of our own experiences and how we both ruined our contest preps on the very last week. Landon is a smart guy and is currently getting his masters degree in Dietetics, then planning on taking the Dietitian exam to become an RD.

MASS CLASS PODCAST | Episode 1| Chris Navarro

I sat down with my client and good friend Chris Navarro and had an interesting conversation about a diverse array of topics. We started out by going over the album that he just released "Vein Beneath the Soil'' with his band Cellar Vessel. We then moved on to talk about his progress on his dieting phase that he is going through. The conversation spun to include a little bit about the benefits and disadvantages of using SARM's as opposed to steroids. We ended our conversation with a little bit of our perspectives on the current obesity epidemic and the role that social media and shame plays.
