I made this audio a few weeks ago, but it seems particularly relevant to share as the world goes through another period of conflict and division. How can we heal the outer conflict and division? How can we find harmony and balance for all? The last 7 months have been some of the most challenging times I have lived through personally and at times I have seriously resisted some of the events I have experienced in my own life and the conflicts that have arisen with me. And yet, as I have navigated these events, I have come to see them as reminders to find within me the peace that I have looked for in resisting some of the challenges that I have navigated. So many of us want to make a difference. We want to 'help', and that's a noble thing.
But so often that helping is driven by fear or trying to prove ourselves. Fear about the state of the world. Fear about what will happen if we don't 'try'! Or an attempt to show the world our value. It can make us tired and exhausted and make the job seem endless.

We try so hard to conform, be someone and do things the 'right' way. We think we are doing it for 'the best' and to keep the approval of others.
But does it work? Really? What if 'the best' is to simply start living as ourselves?
You know the person you are before you worry about what others will think or how you will be judged?
What if that places us in an authentic energetic field that will attract things that are in alignment with our true selves?
What if the key is to unlearn all the conditioning that we have bought into? Some thoughts in today's video.

It seems to me that the outcomes we are creating in our life right now are a direct by-product of our level of consciousness and how we currently see ourselves and the world.
To create something new, we have to become anew. We have to alter the way we see things and nurture ourselves into a new way of being.
It is not possible to be who are being right now AND create something new.
This process of change presents challenges which if not understood and addressed correctly can actually derail our progress.
In this video I share what some of those challenges are and how we can deal with them effectively to stay on track.

I know many are having sleep problems at the moment. We are in particularly intense energies and as our bodies integrate these energies they are affecting the sleep patterns for many of us, which can be quite concerning.
For years I worked with clients with Chronic Fatigue. You would think that improving sleep would be a big part of what would help people with their predicament. But in the published research I conducted, we saw people improve their fatigue, physical wellbeing, anxiety and depression symptoms without any statistically significant improvements in their sleep disturbances.

In this video I share some thoughts about what I have found helps me, and others I have worked with, be less concerned and more energised when facing insomnia or lack of sleep.

This is a follow on from my last video (How To Find Your Way Through Contradictory Viewpoints: https://youtu.be/ukU_lDeXH0w).
In this share I wanted to share a recent example of finding myself going back to meditation - a practice that for me had largely fallen away after I learned about the 3 Principles.
The insight I share in this video is a big reason why I don't align myself to any particular personal development or spiritual paradigm and is why I see that there is truth in all the different paradigms that get shared, depending on where we are contextually and in our journey's.
As a result, you may find engaging with my material (and others) over time that there may be contradictions in my shares.
The insight shared in this video explains why and emphasises why you should ALWAYS check in with your own intuition and knowing when engaging with any of my shares, and trust YOUR insights over mine. I hope you find this helpful.

Have you ever worked with a coach or mentor, or listened to a spiritual teacher, and found them sharing information that seems to contradict at times?
I know I've not only experienced being on the receiving end of this, but as coach and teacher I have also shared information that could be seen to be contradictory.
But is it really contradictory? Or is there something deeper at work that means that all the information that is being shared is, on some level, true?

When trying to create success it's tempting to look towards other people's journey's and how they created the outcomes that we want. But if you listen to enough stories, you will notice that often they conflict in their advice and this can cause us stress, confusion and fear. How can we navigate these conflicts when this happens, particularly when the stakes feel high? Is there something that unifies these stories which we can tap into to find our way forwards?

I've been a little quiet from sharing for a while lately. I've been in a gestation period, asking A LOT of questions about pretty much everything - the world, myself and what and how, even if, I share with the world.
I've had some conversations with trusted friends about this too, but most of it in recent months has simply been quiet internal reflection.
One of those friends sent me the following quote after a conversation we had recently.
Here it is: "While you are here, you might as well say the truth you are sent here to say. We are all just messengers. And the message is always holy. Open up. Gather your sacred water. Pour."

Almost immediately after I received. this, I watched Gregor Dimitrov give a speech for his win at the Brisbane tennis tournament. He was a bit lost for words and slightly choked up. But the honesty and sincerity of this touched me more than any 'message' he could say.
As I reflected on this, it brought home to me that one of the things I have been tussling with is the establishing of a new balance between the verbal message I share and the energy behind it. In my coaching work sharing from my heart as honestly as I could see were always my guidelines. But I also felt quite sure of some of the verbal form of the content that I shared.
But in my time of questioning, where it’s been harder to know what to think and say sometimes (because so much has come up within me for scrutiny), I'm remembering that perhaps its okay to let the feeling of simply being real and honest, even if I have felt uncertain at times, be enough of a 'message'.
With that in mind, I'd like to share a video blog that I have created. It's an honest share about the sense of 'deletion' I have gone through over the last few years, which has left me feeling more and more in the unknown than ever, but also with a deeper recognition of the power of simply resting in that place. The video will continue for 2 minutes after the narration finished to provide a chance for reflection.

You may have noticed that lately I have been uploading videos onto YouTube as I've wanted to make them accessible to a wider audience. As part of this shift in how I share I've also been exploring how other YouTube creators show up and share their content.
It seems to me that often in life we are told that the only way to be 'valuable' is to show up and conform to predefined boxes. I remember at school going through a list of professions with my careers advisor and how none of the professions he shared felt right for me. The indication was, though, that unless you could squeeze yourself into one of these professions, you would somehow struggle.
I've definitely seen through this to some extent, and seeing some of the videos being made by other content creators it made me see even more clearly how so many people are thriving not by conforming to the socially recognisable job descriptions, but simply by being themselves.
As a follow on to my recent video series about living a Self validated life, it occurred to me that part of what stops us simply 'being ourselves' is the self talk that tells us that we can only be valuable if we squeeze ourselves into one of these boxes. But is this really true and does it stand up to scrutiny?
What if we could thrive by allowing more of our natural way of showing up rather than by trying to be something that we are not?

Today's video is a recording I made a month ago after observing an exchange on social media where one person had been triggered by another person's comments. This person then proceeded to try and argue against the person sharing, labelling them pretty harshly, and whilst I didn't necessarily agree with what the other person had shared, I felt their heart in it. It felt honest and sincere.
Of course this kind of exchange is not unusual. It happens whenever we get attached to a perspective in any area of our life. But what if there is truth in all perspectives and, even if we won't always see it, being suspicious of this at least might help us to keep our hearts and minds open to seeing something from that perspective as a result of us being triggered?
In today's share quite a personal story of how I really came to see this during a quite intense situation and how it has also helped me to not be so triggered and to stay a little bit more in appreciation of other's views, even if I don't necessarily agree with them. I know, for some, even this idea that being triggered might be an opportunity or something to be welcomed could in of itself be triggering.
If so, I gently invite you to stay with me and be with the potential discomfort of this idea which for me is a key part of how we stay open minded (and I speak to in the video).
