On August 12th, 1995, Sonia became the first Irish female world champion when she crossed the line in the 5k event in 14:46.47.

First in the New Balance Grand Prix in the 3k. Andrew ran a time of 7:30.75 while taking the win and setting a world lead.
Following this performance he made the trip from Boston to New York where he ran in the Wanamaker mile in the Millrose games. On his was to a new mile national record time of 3:49.26 Andrew also ran quicker than the current national indoor 1500m time by running 3:33.40.
Cillian and Andrew also look back on an eventful summer, from the European Championships in Rome all the way to the Olympic Games in Paris
