Alcoholism is one topic that can be difficult for people to talk about openly. This episode can be helpful for both a friend or family member as well as the person struggling with addiction. Kendra was kind enough to share her story of betrayal leading to her experience with alcoholism. We discus what was helpful for her as she worked through the realization of wanting sobriety in her life. This was a unique opportunity since I am the wife a person who also has a similar story. We talk about things from the two perspectives and why sometimes the normal standards on "how to get sober" do not work for everyone. I really loved sharing the space with Kendra and hearing some of her unique but impactful ways she worked towards sobriety.
I had the pleasure to sit down with Coach and Creator of The Flow Collective, Francesca Paschetta.
