We hear the term "inner work" a lot, but do we actually understand what that means? I know a lot of people ask me about it! In this episode I strive to illustrate what inner work is both through definitions, what it's not, scripture, and a story from my own healing journey.
If you know someone that wants to do some inner work, share this episode with them! Thank you!

It's all good and fine to talk about healing in an idealistic way, but what does it look like in real life? In this interview episode, Denita has a conversation with long-term client and friend Sonya Payne. Sonya is an amazing example of someone who is committed to the healing journey. She has tried many modalities, has experienced real trials in her life, and although the journey isn't over yet, has experienced real results. Her story is inspiring and authentic.
Cello music is written, recorded and produced by Jacqueline Walker.

Do you know a woman who you think should be bigger, brighter, and louder in this world because of her amazing-ness? Maybe that woman is you? In this episode I discuss the reason behind the work I do and why I am led to healing work. I quote from President Nelson's 2015 talk A Plea to my Sisters inviting women to step into a bigger, brighter, louder version of themselves and add the word "heal" to his list of what women should do. Many of us have been spiritually and emotionally wounded into believing we shouldn't speak up and become a bigger version of ourselves, so we first have to do the healing work.
If you want to take me up on my invitation and be supported in your personal healing work by me, please join the Erémos. (And do you have an idea for a re-name for this community of mothers/women who heal, mothers who are becoming more righteous and articulate? If so, let me know here.)
I would love to have this podcast be a conversation between me and you. If you have a question, positive or negative feedback, or just want to get my thoughts, fill out this short form and I'll respond on the podcast.

If you noticed the new podcast name and artwork and thought, "Not AGAIN!!" I am with you! I thought I was going to be closing the podcast, but instead the Spirit has led me to a re-brand and a slightly fresh new direction and focus. I explain all of that and my larger podcasting journey in this episode, including how I'm hoping the podcast will serve you in the future. I hope you'll come with me through the changes, because I'm doubling down on creating helpful, healing content.
The Healer's Art is a holistic approach to being your true self in a traumatizing world. Geared toward Christian and specifically Latter-day Saint mothers, the Healer's Art is a resource for doing the inner healing work on oneself, generating a ripple effect outward through generations of family lines. Partnering with Jesus Christ and acknowledging He is the ultimate healer, The Healer's Art seeks to co-create a world where everyone feels safe, seen, and heard so they can fulfill the purpose of their creation.
This is a great time for me to ask you to leave a rating and a review if you haven't already. It only takes a minute; I would appreciate that so much!
I still have my $9/month coaching community, the Erémos. If you're interested in slowing down, connecting in, and growing your capacity it's the place to be.
Stand by for a link where you can anonymously ask questions I can answer on the podcast. In the meantime, feel free to email me and I'll add your question to the queue.
Do you have an idea for a conversation you think would be both appropriate to the podcast and helpful to the audience? I'd love to have you!

I was going to create a podcast episode about the Sex Summit I participated in this year, but it didn't feel right because of all the things that have been happening this week.
Instead I created an episode about what to do when the world feels heavy. Of course, I talk about nervous system regulation and trauma, but also it could just be anything you feel you want to do. Listen in as I explain my own feelings and thoughts on this topic.
If you're interested in the Sex Summit, I receive 50% of every sale made through my personal links.

We are on day 5 of General Conference prep month and yesterday in my Liken group someone asked the question, "How do I know if I've received revelation?" I thought it was an excellent question to tackle in today's regular Friday episode. Please know that I am not an expert on the topic, just a person with lots of thoughts about it. This would be a great question to take to your spiritual study time and ponder over time.
I'm linking to a previous episode where I talked about ways other than a sentence in your mind or a feeling in your body that the Spirit manifests.
If you want to get specific coaching around your personal struggle with this, come join the Erémos and I can coach you!
You can also join Liken, where we ask for, expect, and receive revelation together in real time.

In this episode I take you on a journey of my personal scripture study and how I came to a conclusion about our work is to grow our capacity to receive. I discuss HOW to grow that capacity and invite you to a General Conference prep month to do so.
Join the Erémos for even more support to grow your capacity to recieve.

We would love to have you in the Erémos.

This statement, "The gospel isn't working for me" came up in a Liken call, and it got me thinking. In this episode, I dive into 7 reasons the gospel might not be "working" for us, and I also question the paradigm this statement comes from. If you want to increase your faith, this episode is for you.
