Testimony of Morgan & Kynzi Lane-Part 1

This “life story” and testimony of this real life power couple for Jesus is full, and I mean packed full, of so many hardships turned praise stories that it makes you hope it doesn’t end…..

Part 1 is the beginning of them…..It starts out with both of their “not so perfect” childhoods that often left them feeling rejected and abandoned. Gods amazing intervention in Kynzi s life as a young teenager that moved her from Erath county near Stephenville, Texas all the way up near Canadian in the Texas panhandle where she met Morgan. Their college days, her moving back to Erath county which resulted in Morgan following her and marriage soon after, then their first pregnancy. Unfortunately they have dealt with the unspeakable in losing that child mid term, then Morgan lost a best friend to suicide. Their lives seemed to be spiraling out of control……Then Jesus stepped in and began the slow process of rebuilding them from the ground up. What a remarkable story of unwavering spiritual and physical grit and determination to “stay hooked”……Their life is what “How to books” should be written from.

Thanks for following and stay tuned for Part 2.  (Wild Will hopes to get better at editing and splicing one day soon maybe…..until then, please just be graceful and enjoy the authenticity of it all)

If you know someone who should be interviewed, please find WW on line and send him a message. Thanks!!

All of these gentlemen agree on America’s need for more grit & more Jesus.

Steadfast-Danny & Pricilla Duvalle Testimony

“Steadfast”-I prayed and God listened. (Danny Duvall-81) Also found in Psalms 34:4.

Join in as Wild Will sits down at the ranch home of Danny and Pricilla Duvalle of Lingleville, Texas. The Duvalle’s have been married for 62 years, raised three sweet daughters that have added thirteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren to their “quiver”. They “bought the farm” and moved to Lingleville right at fifty years ago with three small children, one God, one dream and no money….They have been steadfast to the Lord, each other and their family, not to mention, their church. Danny humbly stated that they have attended Lingleville Baptist church consistently through thirteen different pastors. Ironically, they whole heartedly agree that they owe everything about who they are today to God and older church members that “took them in” and discipled and taught them how to act when they were not much more than kids themselves. It’s because of how older church members taught them that they have dedicated so much of their time over the past sixty two years, and still do today, to being a steadfast presence at church helping anyway they can. What an amazing life story and testimony of going the distance and never giving up on each other.

The Grit and Barrett Show
Here am I, take me!!

The killing of Charlie Kirk was the promotion of his lifetime. No greater honor can be given a man than to become a martyr for the name of Jesus. Charlie stood solid on his public profession of his faith in Jesus and wanted to be remembered for his courage. He ain’t mad. Now, let us, brothers and sisters, not let his death be in vain. Wild Will makes a bold but simple statement and calls for others to join in, “Here am I, take my life.” Jesus said in John 15:13-No greater love has a man than to lay down his life for his friends.

Charlie was singled out because he was one of just a few in the world that took their faith so public….he was a “Lone Ranger” of his profession……We should all be courageous enough to publicly stand up and be so bold as to say, “I too am willing to die for my savior.”

#20WW-Stoke & Poke

As believers, we truly need the fire of other Christian’s to keep us burning bright. Going at it completely alone is dangerous. We need the accountability of others and the spurring onward of other older, more mature and “seasoned” Christian’s. Hebrews 10:24 & 25 says: And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together….

#19WW-Take care of Gods house (your body)

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV) says, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's".

I think it’s plain and simple stewardship. Like as if a parent gave us a home, then a few years later stopped by and checked things over to see if we took good care of the gift. I actually look more at life as if our physical body is just a temporary loaner from God we should take real good care of Gods temple. As a bonus, WW throws together his famous ground beef meal prep that can be frozen and paired up with so many meals later on, or eaten alone.

#18WW-Who does God say you are? And WW’s famous ground beef meal prep recipe.

One of the most important questions I’ve ever been asked was by a man on a golf course. “Who does Gods say you are?” In effect, What is your God given identity? Not who the world says you are. Not who your parents said you are. Not who your job says you are. As a bonus, Wild Will cooks up a batch of his famous meal prep base or meal starter. It is a game changer that you can keep refrigerated or even frozen and it can quickly be added to almost any other dish to really liven things up.

#16WW-We should seek godly counsel. (WW throws a bonus recipe in of ground beef, sweet potatoes, fried eggs and avocado)

Scripture says in Proverbs 11:14, “In the multitude of counselors there is safety!” We should not suffer in isolation when there are actually millions of other people who serve the body of Christ in hopes of helping someone make it through a tough spot in life. Find them. Spend time with them. Let them feed you. Don’t suffer alone. For an added bonus, Wild Will throws in his recipe for an amazing protein packed meal of ground beef, fried eggs, sweet potatoes and avocados…..all together. It is divine and it’ll help you lose fat, grow muscle and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Your body is the temple of God….take care of it.

What makes you think you are going to heaven? How well you behave? How good you are? How bad you ain’t? This is a strong but needed question to ask ourselves….Hopefully you have the correct answer. (Jesus) Wild Will throws a bonus in this message as he prepares his famous shredded chicken crock pot meal prep and recipe with y’all.

#14-My Pawn Stars Story about my 200 year old Bible

A glimpse of my really unique and almost 200 year old Bible that has family names and birthdates inside from the early 1800’s. One year my wife and I flew to Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo and we took the Bible with us and on down to the pawn shop known as the tv show “Pawn Stars”. They just so happened to be filming an episode and the book appraisal lady was already there. It looked like fate had lined the entire thing up but Pawn Stars owner Rick erupted with a horrible outburst screaming (off camera) that he doesn’t buy religious artifacts. We were quickly shuffled out the door. (He didn’t know it but I wasn’t going to let him buy it anyway)

#13WW-Always bragging on God

Over the years, folks often mistake my stories and testimonies for gloating on myself. But the actual truth is that as Christians, we are supposed to be bragging on and glorifying God everywhere we go. (Magnify the Lord.) Our lives should be an outspoken example of all of the ways that God has changed us and made our lives better. Like a shining light….Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

#12-Thankfully rejected

Wild Will uses a recent experience where two old friends of his rejected him in a time of need when he called on them for help. The Old Testament biblical story of Joseph and how he was also rejected by his own brothers teaches us that God often uses other people in our lives to push us into His divine will for our lives by having them do things to us that cause pain and discomfort. Had Joseph’s own brothers not sold him into slavery he would not had the opportunity to interpret the kings dream and then been placed as governor over all the land and people, which led to him saving his own family many years after their rejection.

#11-Training teenagers & young horses

Starting young horses and raising kids is a very similar process. Some colts and some kids will take a little more pressure than others, and some will blow up and run off if you ask them too much too quick. It takes the wisdom of the Lord to know how to tip-toe the very fine line between messing up a good one or making it into a world champ. Building and establishing a foundation of “trust” is the absolute most important thing. Time, patience, and repetition complete the process.

#10-If Jesus had socials

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could get up every morning and check Jesus’ social pages to see what He is up to for the day? To be able to text Jesus say, “I need some advice.” Etc. Well, the written word of God combined with the inner voice and leadership of the Holy Spirit is what should be guiding us on everything we do. We must continue in Gods word to have it permeate and saturate our minds.
