There are so many layers of not just good stuff but great stuff in the Kim Emmons Knor story. This previously recorded interview is with Kim, Sherry Butcher who is the United States Parachute Association President and Kim's sister-friend-mentor all rolled up in one;).
In fact, Sherry is the one who inspired Kim to take this leap of faith. It’s about taking the next best step. Kim… we’ll have what you’re having.Big LOVE!HUGE!(also HUGE THANK YOU SHOUT OUT to Dr. Rich Smith for editing and for being such an important part of this Good Stuff Family)

9/5/25 Remembering 9yo Addi Keegan BPWU S6 E29
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. For Addi Keegan’s family, it’s every second of every day. Awareness. Inescapable awareness… of the enormity of what cancer can take and of the memories, love and legacy it can never steal. As we gather around the virtual gratitude table this morning for our The Best Part of Waking Up **IS** Waking Up series, we’ll look back at Addi’s, story and the LOVE she felt from so many, including her favorite country singer Luke Bryan. When we met Addi 8 years ago and asked her just HOW MUCH she loves Luke Bryan, she lit up and said “9,999 stars and hearts." How do you even begin to calculate THAT level of love?:) Then MORE LOVE ensued when A Special Wish Cleveland gave Luke Bryan a window into Addi’s beautiful 9-year-old heart and she got to meet him! Annnnddd…. The good heart and soul band members of Cleveland’s Country Redford treated Addi and her family to a live all Luke Bryan music concert in her own back yard. It’s SO TRUE! -
-The Best Good Stuff often rises up out of the unthinkable.
-Legacies we leave can be impactful if we get 9 years or 90 years.
-There is POWER in See The Good in Others. Be The Good For Them.
Grab a cup of coffee and join us in celebrating Addi and the Keegan family and cancer warriors and their families everywhere. Let's celebrate all The Good Stuff things that can happen when Love Leads.

So today after the headlines have passed, we settle in with Jared’s proud dad, Mark Schmitz to talk about what this Gold Star Dad is doing in the wake of that soul crushing loss. Grassroots Good Stuff in the works right now in Missouri that will uplift encourage and inspire veterans who may be struggling right now.THEfreedom13.org is how Mark Schmitz is seeing The Good in the veterans of today and being The Good for them in Jared’s name.

Mountains, Mindsets and Making a Difference: The Saanvi Mylavarapu Story
Saanvi Mylavarapu is an 18-year-old youth advocate, especially in the realm of mental health, an environmental changemaker, and an incoming neuroscience freshman at Emory University.
Her journey, though rooted in science, is deeply spiritual…led by faith, a connection to nature, and a calling to make this world better for the next generation.
She believes dirt under your nails is a badge of healing, and faith in action means fighting for the planet and its people…
What began as a childhood love for trees and trails turned into Project Nature Worthy, a national youth-led movement focused on how time in nature heals our brains, especially those struggling with mental health challenges, grief, or trauma.
Saanvi has hiked more than 1,000 miles across national parks, often with her mom by her side collecting not just memories but mission.
From backpacking across national parks to pushing for policy change on Capitol Hill, Saanvi says it’s never been about media. It’s always been about meaning...that even the youngest voices can carry God’s light.

June 1st is officially National Cancer Survivors Day. So we're taking the opportunity to share Timmy Tusick's Survivor Story. The truth is, we're inspired by him every day. Why? Because Grit, Gratitude and God's Grace were a huge part of his recovery regimen out of a grim leukemia diagnosis at just 19-years-old. Timmy's story is inspiration for all of us who need a nudge to just. keep. taking. the. next. best. step.
Like all Good Stuff stories, we find several layers of Good Stuff/God Stuff along the way. Scratch the surface of the Timmy Tusick story, and there is Pat Dunlap. Pat is the University Hospitals Environmental Services team member at Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland who is as much a part of Timmy's recovery as anyone in a white coat with a bunch of letters after their names.
One of my all time favorite stories. Warrioring through cancer or not, here's inspiration for each of us how God Equips the CALLED beyond our careers. All He needs is a 'Yes'.

5/16/25 The Best Part of Waking Up *IS* Waking Up S6 E15 "In this world you WILL have trouble. but take heart! I have overcome the world." -John 16:33 Navigating through some of the greatest griefs. The PEACE of GOD filter to process it all. This morning as we gather around the virtual Gratitude Table...we take up the topic of HOW that exactly works? That sometimes seemingly nebulous and elusive PEACE that Paul talks about also talks about in Phil 4:6-7. Plus a huge shoutout to Rose Farmers for excellent customer service and THE MOST BEAUTIFUL Roses! Also, friend Ted Reardon shares a powerful download from earlier this week. No WAY you won't be inspired. Want to grab a cup of coffee and join us for this edition of The Best Part of Waking Up...IS Waking Up? 3/5/25 Good Stuff Thoughts in 3 minutes or less;)"Let us not tire of DOING GOOD" Galatians 6:9. Timmy Tusick and friend Pat Dunlap are doing just that. March 4, 2019. Timmy Tusick, a standout wrestler and super Good Stuff guy, diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at just 19-years-old. But almost a YEAR AHEAD OF SCHEDULE on July 2021 our Unconquerable Soul RANG THE BELL at University Hospitals in Cleveland. Here's my post from that day. Ok y’all!!!!THIS! Right HERE!!!These are #TheGoodStuff (GOD Stuff) moments I LIVE FOR! Our unconquerable soul Timmy Tusick RANG THE BELL TODAY! A day that was never guaranteed. The day he officially kicked cancer to the curb a year early. The day we all praise God for the GIFT that IS Timmy Tusick that is going to keep on givin’. At 21-years-old Timmy’s story for His glory is just beginning. The chapter that began with a cancer diagnosis started with Pat. She officially joined the Tim Strong Family today when we surprised Timmy with Pat and he placed his trademark wristband on her arm. Here’s their story. The diagnosis came like a sucker punch for this then 19-year-old, ridiculously fit wrestler from Padua Franciscan High School just starting his freshman year at Kent State University. Doctors said it didn’t look good. Some even wondered how Timmy was alive. He would spend weeks on end in the hospital. But from the beginning there was Pat. Pat is a cancer survivor herself. Timmy told us about her in an interview in March… when he was in the homestretch to cancer free. “One of the first days in there one of the workers at UH her name is Pat. I don’t know her last name. She used to come in and take my garbage out and she used to have cancer too. And she told me when she first got diagnosed...I have it vividly engraved in my memory...she said “I SMILED EVERY DAY WHEN I WOKE UP..JUST BECAUSE I WOKE UP and ya know what? The fact that i woke up? IM GOING TO SMILE NOW EVERYDAY. BECAUSE I HAD REASONS TO BE GRATEFUL AND BECAUSE I ***LOOKED FOR REASONS TO BE GRATEFUL*** I TOOK EVERY DAY AS A GIFT AND I MADE THE MOST OF IT.WE’RE GOING TO BEAT THIS...AND *****IT ALL STARTED WITH THE ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE." Today… just after Timmy rang the bell, it was a moment worth a million words when Timmy saw his inspiration personified friend again for the first time. Our Job. Our salary. Our rank. Tiny inconsequential details compared to our WORTH. To be the bright light who uplifts and encourages and inspires. In Pat’s case, fills a patient so full of hope it sets the trajectory from dismal diagnosis to triumphant bell ringer…. That’s a CALLING not just a career. Will we answer the call in micro moments of love to SEE The Good and BE The Good?“ Together We Can. Together We Will.

And our Santa friend, who’s summer home is in Middlefild OH celebrates Him too… More than presents, he’s bringing a message of Hope to Families with sick kids. Today we reflect back on The Good Stuff/God Stuff work he and Mrs. Claus are doing and take a look at some of the thousands of letters to Santa that they are personally responding to. Also a unique tribute to our friend, Bill Greenblatt, who passed away this week. Well known for more than the iconic pictures he’s captured in St. Louis. Also we reflect on our own favorite family Christmas memories… Honoring loved ones who’ve gone before.

76-Year-old Charles Eduardos. At just 16-years-old he was a recognized voice in Cleveland as a media personality at WABQ radio. Now Pastor Charles is giving a voice to his powerful story of faith and resilience since then. And what a story this Evangelical Lutheran pastor has to tell. A man who was shot, died on the operating table and then lived to tell about it...is leading by example reconnecting us with God and each other. Broken, he'll tell you, to be "reassembled" better than ever in God's image. If you need inspiration to just keep taking the next best step, settle in for this story of God at Work through Pastor Charles Eduardos.
