In this episode, I’m sharing a behind-the-scenes look at my upcoming Plan Your Year workshop for local entrepreneurs here in Colorado Springs. We’re diving into one of my favorite topics, reflection and realignment, because before we set new goals, we need to pause, reflect, and take stock of where we’ve been.
I talk about what it really means to reflect intentionally, not just listing wins and losses, but really asking ourselves “where am I headed and do I want to stay on this path?”, “who am I becoming? Is that who I want to be?” Whether you’re planning a big business pivot, adjusting your personal goals, or simply craving a reset before the new year, this episode will help you realign with your values and set a stronger foundation for what’s next.
I also open up about my own journey of making intentional decisions, including one of the biggest ones in my life, and how reflection gave me the clarity to make it confidently.
Finally, I invite you to join me in person for the Plan Your Year workshop in Colorado Springs, where we’ll dive deeper into these topics together and design a plan for 2026 that feels grounded, intentional, and uniquely yours.
💡 Key Takeaways
Rest is productive. Pausing gives your mind and body the space to prepare for what’s next.
Reflection is realignment. Look at your past year not just for what you achieved, but for what you learned about yourself.
Ask deeper questions. “Who am I becoming?” can reveal more than “What did I accomplish?”
Check in regularly. You don’t need to wait for January to realign — reflection can (and should!) be a rhythm throughout the year.
Your energy is data. Feeling drained doesn’t always mean you’re off-track; sometimes meaningful work simply takes energy. That’s okay.
🗓️ Join the Workshop
If you’re local to Colorado Springs, come join me for the Plan Your Year Workshop — an in-person event designed to help entrepreneurs and creatives reflect, realign, and set a plan that actually feels good. I’d love your feedback and ideas as I shape the event!

Shoutout to Squadda B and the 126ers for the awesome music in my intro and intermission.
In this episode, I talk about what it really means to “do it scared.” You’ve probably heard that phrase before, but actually living it is a whole different story. I open up about the times I’ve had to take action before feeling fully ready, and how I learned to move through fear instead of waiting for it to disappear.
We’ll explore how to break down big, overwhelming goals into smaller, doable steps so they don’t feel so intimidating. I also share simple ways to start building confidence, both the general self-trust kind and the skill-based kind, so you can keep moving forward even when fear is tagging along.
By the end of this episode, I hope you’ll feel encouraged to take that next small, aligned step toward something that matters to you (even if it’s a little scary).
Key Takeaways:
Fear doesn’t go away before you take action. It fades because you take action.
Breaking big goals into smaller, manageable steps makes them less overwhelming.
Choose challenges that stretch you just enough to grow without sending you into panic mode.
Reflect on your progress regularly, both wins and lessons, to build self-trust and momentum.
You don’t have to feel “ready” to begin. You just have to start.
If you’re ready to plan your next chapter with more clarity and ease, I’d love to have you join me for my Plan Your Year Workshop coming up in January! Join the waitlist here: https://thefierceframework.myflodesk.com/planning
Shoutout to Squadda B for the awesome music in my intro.
In this episode, I’m sharing my thoughts on something that’s been frustrating me lately. That weird combination of compliment and comparison. You know the kind: “You’re so brave, I could never do that.”
I talk about why that mindset can hold us back, how confidence actually develops through action (not waiting until we feel ready), and why assuming things are easier for others keeps us stuck.
I also open up about my own experiences with fear, insecurity, and being misunderstood as “confident” when I was really just taking action anyway. I wasn’t confident when I started. I was scared, too. A little lost, overwhelmed, not sure where to start, and terrified of making a mistake. If I can do it, so can you! My hope is that this conversation empowers you to stop comparing, start experimenting, and move toward what lights you up. Even if it scares you a little.
Takeaways:
Stop assuming someone else “has it easier.” You have what it takes, too.
Fear and self-doubt are normal; they don’t mean you’re on the wrong path.
Do it scared. You don’t have to feel confident or ready before you start. You can choose to take action anyway.
Start small. Choose a baby step that’s small enough to be doable, but still big enough to be intimidating. Choose something that will stretch, but not break, you.
Know you’ll fall down. Look, “failing” is just a part of learning. Every baby falls down while they’re learning to walk. So, expect yourself to fall a few times when you’re learning something new. It’s all part of the process.

In this episode, I dive into the power of experimentation and decision-making, especially when fear and uncertainty try to hold us back. I share my own journey of learning to let go of shame and embarrassment around not always knowing what I want, and how small, intentional steps have helped me discover new paths. Throughout the episode, I encourage you to embrace your individuality, explore without shame, and view even small experiments as a way to build clarity, confidence, and momentum.
If you’re ready to step outside your comfort zone and start discovering what truly lights you up, this episode will give you both inspiration and practical ideas to start today.
Takeaways:
Experimentation creates clarity. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start — small steps reveal new paths and options.
Overcome the fear of the unknown. Let go of shame or embarrassment about not knowing what you want; learning comes through doing.
Avoid getting stuck in research mode. Do just enough research to feel safe, then take action and adjust as you go.
Communicate when you pivot. Experimentation isn’t flakiness — it’s growth. Clear communication helps manage expectations.
Embrace individuality. You don’t have to do things the conventional way; make it your own and allow it to evolve.

Feeling anxious about stepping outside your comfort zone? In this episode of The Fierce Framework Podcast, I share my personal journey of building confidence step by step, even when I felt scared or unsure. You’ll learn practical strategies for managing social anxiety, taking small, meaningful actions, and reframing discomfort as growth. Whether you’re an introvert, a beginner at something new, or just looking to feel more self-assured, these gentle, proven tips will help you develop real confidence you can trust.
And if you’d like to connect with me beyond the podcast, come hang out with me on Instagram or TikTok at @TheFierceFramework. I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
Takeaways:
Confidence is a skill, not a trait. You build it by taking action even when you’re scared, not by waiting to feel ready.
Reframe discomfort as growth. Feeling anxious or awkward doesn’t mean you’re failing; it’s a sign you’re stretching your comfort zone.
In this episode, I’m opening up about something I think so many of us experience but rarely talk about: those natural cycles of low energy, lost motivation, and dips in creativity. As someone with ADHD (and who’s learning to work with my brain instead of against it), I’ve had to figure out ways to navigate these seasons with a lot more compassion and flexibility.
I share how I handle days when my energy crashes, why I no longer expect myself to be “on” all the time, and the practical strategies I use to stay consistent.. From simplifying my to-do list to preparing for support ahead of time, I’ve learned that managing energy is less about trying to fix myself and more like nurturing a houseplant.
Key Takeaways:
Your energy and motivation aren’t broken; they’re just cyclical.
Resting and simplifying doesn’t make you lazy, it makes you sustainable.
Planning for help when you’re feeling good sets you up for success during the harder days.
Consistency is about maintenance, not perfection or constant growth.
Treat yourself with the same compassion and patience you’d give to something you’re caring for.

In this episode, I’m diving into one of the most important (and honestly, hardest) skills I’ve had to learn as a woman with ADHD: setting boundaries and learning to say no.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying the weight of everyone else’s expectations while your own priorities get pushed to the side, you’re not alone. I share how I’ve been practicing clearer communication about who I am, what I value, and what I’m available for (both in business and in my personal life).
I also open up about my budgeting journey and how it’s forced me to take a closer look at where my time, money, and energy are really going. Saying no to things that don’t align with my long-term goals has been tough, but it’s also incredibly freeing!
We’ll talk about:
Why “no” is a complete sentence (and why it feels so hard to say it).
How communicating your values can strengthen your relationships instead of straining them.
My real-life examples of prioritizing what matters most, from debt payoff to daily routines.
Practical ways to start practicing boundaries even in small, everyday decisions.
If you’ve been struggling to balance other people’s needs with your own goals, this episode will give you permission (and some practical tools) to start choosing yourself first.
Boundaries protect your energy, time, and priorities not just from others, but from yourself.
ADHD makes prioritization trickier, but it also makes it even more important to focus on what really matters.
Clear communication helps empower others to respect your needs and support you, whether in friendships, family, or business.
Saying “no” is a skill you can practice. I encourage you to start small, it does get easier with time!

In this episode, I’m sharing my personal journey of shifting from constant hustle to intentionally embracing rest and self-care. I talk about how “romanticizing rest” became a key part of my Fierce Framework, and how treating rest as something sacred has changed the way I show up in both life and business.
I know that rest isn’t always accessible or easy, so I’m also naming the privilege that can come with having more spaciousness. But I truly believe that rest, in whatever form you can access, is powerful. Especially for entrepreneurs like us who are constantly pouring our energy into others.
If you’ve been feeling like you need permission to slow down or make rest a priority, this episode is for you. I’m also sharing a few ways to make rest feel more intentional, cozy, and supportive in your everyday life. And if you’re curious about working together, I’ve got details about my free mini coaching sessions too.
Rest is not the opposite of productivity. When done intentionally, rest can boost your clarity, creativity, and ability to show up fully in your work.
"Romanticizing" rest makes it feel more sacred and special. Think cozy coffee rituals, reading with candles, or intentional time outside. Romanticizing doesn’t have to be fancy to be effective.
Entrepreneurs often burn out by pouring all their energy into others. Recharging is actually a crucial part of your job when you're building a purpose-driven business.
Rest doesn’t have to feel natural right away. Like any practice, creating restful routines takes intention, experimentation, and time.
You don’t have to “earn” your rest. Worthiness is not tied to productivity. You are allowed to rest simply because you’re human.
Self-care is a process, not a one-off event. Whether it’s hammocking in a park or lighting a candle during your morning coffee, small moments add up.

If you’ve ever felt like your needs are “too much” or kept changing for “no reason,” you’re not alone. I’m sharing some real talk about what it means to accept your ever-changing needs (without guilt), how I’ve learned to ask for help, and why building a business that fits you is so powerful, especially when you’re neurodivergent.
I talk about how our needs shift, why that’s not a problem, and how trying to power through usually just makes things worse. I’m also sharing some of the tools and practices that have helped me (not because I’ve got it all figured out, but because I’m in it with you!)
We’ll talk about self-care (that doesn’t always feel good right away), asking for help (yes, even with laundry), and why building a business your way is a whole lot easier when you stop trying to be someone you’re not.
Let this episode be your reminder that your needs are valid, you don’t have to do it all alone, and that one of the beautiful things about being an entrepreneur is building a business that fits you.
Takeaways:
Having needs doesn’t mean you’re needy, it means you’re human. Changing your mind or your routines doesn’t mean you’re flaky, it means you’re paying attention
Accepting help is a strength, not a failure. Outsourcing everyday tasks can free up brain space for creativity. “Doing less” is strategic, not lazy.
If you’re an ADHDer struggling with the guilt of needing things others don’t seem to struggle with, you’re not alone!

If you’re feeling behind and overwhelmed, you’re not alone. In this episode, I talk about what it really means to make progress, especially when you're navigating entrepreneurship with ADHD. I use a rock climbing analogy (trust me, it works) to explain how we can meet ourselves where we are, instead of beating ourselves up over where we “should” be..
I also share some honest updates about where I’m at, why I’ve been a little off my routine, and what I’ve learned from showing up anyway. We talk about finding routines that actually work for your brain, letting go of advice that doesn’t fit, and why even the tiniest step forward still counts.
Every little step matters. It’s all progress.
Takeaways:
Why you have to accept where you are in order to take the next step
What to do when routines don’t stick (you’re not broken)
Why your voice matters, even if you’re not saying anything new
Real talk about staying consistent when things don’t go as planned

In this episode, I’m sharing the mindset shifts and life lessons that came through during my solo trip to Belize. We cover truths about self-worth, setting boundaries, and why so many of us still feel like we have to earn our right to take up space. If you’ve been overthinking your next move, shrinking yourself to make others comfortable, or feeling stuck in routines that no longer fit, don’t miss this episode.
Takeaways:
Hard conversations lead to powerful outcomes. Whether it’s setting boundaries with a boss or asking for a sale, learning to speak up with clarity and courage is essential for achieving the results you truly want.
Anxiety is often a signal, not a stop sign. When you pause to ask yourself, “What’s really going on here?” you gain clarity. Naming your fear often points you toward your next best step.
Your journey is yours to take, it’s not about who else understands it. Pursuing your purpose, even when it doesn’t make sense to others, will always be more fulfilling than living someone else’s version of success.
You don’t have to earn the right to take up space. You are inherently worthy. Your energy and presence are valuable just as they are. They are gifts to those you share them with.
If it feels “not worth it,” ask yourself: is the thing not worth it, or do you feel like you’re not worth it? Your desire alone makes something worth exploring. You’re worthy of trying new things simply because they light you up.

Amickoleh and I talk money mindset, mental clutter, and giving yourself a little grace. In this episode, we discuss how working through your blocks, both emotional and financial, can help you build a business that actually feels good. If you’re growing something from the ground up, this one’s a gentle reminder that you’re doing better than you think.
Takeaways:
Working through your money blocks is powerful because money helps you make the impact you want to make in the world. Money allows you to give generously in support of causes you care about as well as hire the support you need to allow you to spend more time in your zone of genius.
Clearing out the mental and emotional clutter gives you invaluable real estate in your own heart and mind to use for focusing on and creating what it is that you want to create.
Be patient with yourself - give yourself grace. This is the first time you’ve been here, doing this. You’re creating a business out of thin air. Don’t be too hard on yourself. 🖤

Tune into this conversation with my friend Amickoleh as we dig into how there’s not one, “right” cookie cutter way to build your business. Instead, it’s so important to figure out what works for you, be willing to accept help, and make sure you’re filling your own cup (especially if you're an ADHD entrepreneur owner like me!).
Whether you’re tired of the hustle or simply craving a more authentic, intuitive way to run your business, this conversation will remind you that you get to do it differently, and that’s your greatest strength.
Takeaways:
Two of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as an ADHD entrepreneur: 1. There’s no “right way” to do entrepreneurship. You have to figure out what works for you. 2. There’s nothing wrong with you.
There is a difference between having time and having capacity - especially when we’re holding space and pouring our energy into others. It’s important to accept help and pour into ourselves so that we have the energy and capacity to show up for our clients.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you have to, or should. Feeling obligated to do things just because you’re good at them is how we get stuck in our zone of excellence instead of our zone of genius. Give yourself permission to pivot and pursue those things that truly light you up and that only you can do - your zone of genius.
This episode is your permission slip to trust your pace, your process, and your path. Tune in for a refreshing perspective on success, support, and sustainable growth.

Takeaways:
You’re not ready until you’re ready. It’s easy to look back and beat yourself for not taking a huge leap earlier, but sometimes you’re not ready until you’re ready. Starting small allows you to become the person who is ready to take the next, bigger step while you’re taking those small steps.
“So many of us are afraid of being wrong that we don’t try anything”. But you’re allowed to mess up. You’re allowed to make mistakes. It’s part of being human.
Listening to your intuition is just like learning anything else. You have to practice it. Sometimes, you have to learn what your own voice sounds like.

Key Takeaways:
Small Steps Lead to Big Goals: Achieving big goals doesn’t happen overnight, and it’s all about taking small, manageable steps. Break down your big ambitions into tiny, actionable tasks, and celebrate each small win along the way. Progress, no matter how small, is progress, and it’s what ultimately gets you closer to your goals.
Reflect on Your Goals and Intentions: Regularly check in with yourself. Are your goals still aligned with your vision? Take time to reflect and adjust as needed, whether it’s shifting your short-term actions or refining your long-term plan. This reflection keeps you focused and helps you make sure you’re heading in the right direction.
Embrace a Growth Mindset and Experimentation: Life and business aren’t always linear. Mistakes and changes in direction aren’t failures—they’re just opportunities to learn and grow. By staying open to experimentation, you’ll discover new paths and better ways to reach your goals.
Focus on Progress, Not Perfection: Forget waiting for the perfect plan or outcome— progress, even if it’s messy, is what really matters. The key is to keep moving forward—even if things aren’t perfect. It’s those small, consistent efforts that bring you closer to your dreams, so don’t be afraid to take imperfect action.
Take Action to Achieve Your Desired Outcomes: Instead of getting bogged down by the small details like your website design or business cards, focus on the actions that will move you forward. Have meaningful conversations, connect with others, and serve your community. It may feel uncomfortable at first, but it’s those actions that will lead to real results.
