In the first episode of Season 2 of The Entrepreneurial Esthetician, I, Katrina Lewis Dixon, open up about my own journey of healing and entrepreneurship — a path filled with lessons about community, vulnerability, and authenticity in business. I share insights from recent events like SugarCon, where I connected with other women in the industry, and reflect on the power of branding and staying true to yourself as you grow your business.
This season, I’m thrilled to dive deeper into all sides of being an esthetician entrepreneur — from marketing and community-building to creative business models like brow beauty bars. You’ll hear from three inspiring guests and from me in solo episodes full of practical advice and real conversations. My goal? To create a supportive and empowering space where every esthetician can find inspiration, clarity, and confidence to build a business that reflects who they truly are.

This week's episode I am talking about my transition from two locations back to one and how the dreams I had 5 years ago are not the dreams that I have now and it's okay to change your mind! This journey can be extremely frustrating when you have so many people watching your journey but do not let the criticism get you down. From going to our studio to another location and potentially moving out I decided to listen to my intuition because she’s never wrong. I hope for some of you this finds your comfort if you are as indecisive as I am. At the end of the day it will all work out!
