Episode 7: Hannah Goodman at Activision Blizzard
Today I interviewed Casey Drillette who is a Project Manager at Lurn, Inc. An e-learning and digital publishing platform based out of Rockville, Maryland - and is designed for entrepreneurs seeking to profit from their knowledge by building and selling courses. Even though the company is based in Maryland, Casey lives and works remotely in Chiang Mai Thailand where she is pursuing her passion in Muay Thai fighting haha how awesome is that?? However we met in shanghai while I commuting in the subway to my Muay Thai class after leaving work at my ad agency. She spotted the cowboy boots I was wearing and asked where I was from (fellow Texans know how to identify each other - especially abroad). And right then and there she got off the subway with me and joined my gym… and the rest was history. Today I interviewed Hannah Goodman who is a branding and product manager at Activision Blizzard for Hearthstone. I am excited to have Hannah on the podcast. She has been working in branding, marketing, and advertising for the gaming industry for nine years and as a result, comes with a wealth of knowledge for those navigating these challenging topics for their businesses.

Episode 4: Casey Drillette in Chiang Mai, Thailand

And right then and there she got off the subway with me and joined my gym… and the rest was history. I am really excited to have Casey on the podcast because not only is she obviously a force to be reckoned with; she has a background in marketing and has been working in education for many years. Now works to help every day people profit from their knowledge by building, marketing and selling online courses. She has a lot of really great insights for you today.

Episode 3: Kelvin Yip in Shanghai, China
Today I interviewed Kelvin Yip who is a senior partner at HYPERS Inc. which is a consumer data intelligence company in Shanghai China that partners with Cloudera and Hortonworks and collaborates closely with major players in the big data arena such as AWS, Microsoft and Intel to serve some of the largest companies in the world with marketing data. Kelvin is not only is he the most connected person I have ever met - he is a powerhouse of an entrepreneur that originally got his start in San Francisco during the dot com boom and has done everything from working in tech, to owning restaurants and night clubs entertaining global celebrities. He bought his entrepreneurial spirit to the ad agency we both worked in while in Shanghai and talks about what he would change in the ad agency model (this gets really interesting). And we discuss his pragmatic approach to how startups and side hustlers can tackle branding and marketing in today's world.
