#59 - The Ultimate Goal Setting hacks for 2025
New year’s resolutions are a bit meh, but goal setting is what it’s all about. What’s the difference you might ask..not really sure, but NY rezzo’s seem a bit cringe, and goal setting is a little more mature, so we’re running with that. The pod is back for another year (no one asked but we delivered), and we’re kicking it off with the only goal setting framework you’ll need - backed by science.  The science-backed 5 step goal setting framework Resetting each day/week as another opportunity to hit your goals Not just setting traditional goals, but setting time aside for travel, fun, family and whatever fills your cup Love ya’s Ben, Cam, Brody and Mira *************************** Get in touch with us! #58 - Making An ‘Impact’ with Patrick Dunne
"IMPACT" is the debut film from our guest today, Patrick ‘Paddy’ Dunne, that tells the powerful story of two skydivers, Mark ‘Lucch’ Lucchiari and Ben Lucock, and their journey to recovery after a near-fatal accident. It highlights the importance of mental health, family, recovery, and friendship. It is a story of hope, resilience, and the power of the human spirit to overcome even the toughest of obstacles. We were fortunate enough to get an advanced screening of the film, and it truly had us on the edge of our seats and our hearts in our throats.  A fascinating insight into the filmmaking process and the incredible characters involved in the project. Hats off to Paddy on a stellar debut and we wish him and the crew all the best with the film’s journey.  Follow Paddy’s film and videography projects here: Instagram: @impact.movie & @allbeefcreative The film is destined for release on YouTube. #55 - “Put yourself in the creator’s seat” with Jasmine Darrah
We talk a lot about our favourite mental models (overarching frameworks that help one understand life) on this podcast, but we had yet to meet someone who had created their own daily model that they are now showing with the world..that is until we met Jasmine Darrah. The “3 P’s” represents Jasmine’s vision for pursuing her philosophy, priorities and purpose each and every single day.  We talk about: The inception of her ‘3 Ps’ model and testing the theory through her own podcast series Quantifying her life in the early stages  An understanding of the ‘3 Ps’ tool - a framework for a purposeful life Building respect through vulnerability The project has become her identity to align her values Reframing rejection “Consuming other people's ideas is overrated. Put yourself in the creators seat”. Becoming a creator.  We’ve known Jas for a few years now and it has been a real pleasure to watch her journey and growth over this time. Her drive and passion for crafting an ideal life is infectious. Enjoy!  Reach out to Jas: Youtube: @jasmineamberdarrah Get your ‘3Ps’ journal template HERE: 3Ps Journal Template *************************** Get in touch with us! #54 - Is Life Unfair? // Do You Have To Have An Opinion On Everything?
We once again stumble our way through some thought-provoking concepts like the perceived “unfairness of life” as we unpack the article The problem isn’t that life is unfair – it’s your broken idea of fairness. In a society where we’re so quick to share our half-baked opinion on anything and everything, we ask ourselves the question: “do you have to have an opinion on everything?”. Loved the thinking behind this one.  We talk about: Is there a difference between competition and comparison. Are the concepts mutually exclusive? Are you playing a finite or infinite game in life? Are you competing against others or yourself? You’re judged by what you do, not what you think. Accept society places higher value on action more than intention.  Our idea of fairness is self-interest. What is the lens you are viewing life through? If I’m not educated on the topic, I don’t need to have an opinion.  Actions speak louder than words. We love our dedicated time each week to have fat chats about the things we don’t normally think about or get to discuss out loud. We hope it also resonates with you. *************************** Get in touch with us! #52- How Do You Choose Where To Live? Believe it or not, we are still alive (sorry for the break, we were asleep). Lots has happened over the last 2 months, we’ve travelled, quit and pursued new careers, new habits and just generally trying to figure life out through the change.  On today’s episode, we hear about: Cam’s trip abroad Which one of us became a real estate agent? Don’t think too hard. Ben’s new breathwork coach and all things stress reduction Brody pitches us some questions and we once again go down the rabbit hole to discuss:“how do you figure out where you want to live?” The concept of “habituation” and how to keep things from getting boring Time is speeding up as we get older, why?
