008: 200 Pound Weight Loss Journey Created in a Single Moment | with Will Winkley
Imagine this: It’s Christmas in your new house with your family. Your kids are so excited to show their grandparents their new bedrooms. With their tiny hands, your kids lead your parents towards the stairs to their rooms. The only problem? Your Mom and Dad don’t have the physical health to climb the stairs. Their minds willing but their bodies are not up to the task. Then you watch as they tell your kids that they can’t go see their rooms. The look on your kids face is enough to spark a pact between you and your wife to never let a moment like that happen to you. What happens next is an amazing transformation culminating in the two of you losing nearly 200 pounds combined and getting in the best shape of your lives. My guest today is Will Winkley. 007: Everything You Do Affects Your Family – Tales from a Military Dad | with Edward Saylors
My guest today is Edward Saylors an ex-military Dad of 4. On the show we dive into the world I think most Dads can relate to – doing everything you can to provide for your family. While working 12-14 hours a day Edward had very little time or energy to put into his health. As a result his weight ballooned up over 300 pounds. During Edwards time in the military he constantly struggled with meeting the weight standard requirement which led to him basically starve himself every 6 months to make weight. Finally after 17 years he left the military but found it very challenging to find a civilian job which could use his skillset. During this time his weight troubles continued. Until one day he got out of bed, sick of feeling terrible, and said NO MORE. Take a listen to Edward’s story, I think you will find it very relatable and inspirational. Enjoy!

006: From Darkness Comes Greatness – The Rollercoaster Dadlife | with Alexander Gonzales
LOVED getting a chance to speak with Alexander Gonzales in this interview. It’s clear to me that Alexander lives in a world of possibility On the show we cover A LOT of ground. From getting the baby blues as a Dad to having to get off a rollercoaster ride because he was too big to fit and how he used the Ketogenic Diet to drop almost 100 pounds. The biggest shock came about 20 minutes in when Alexander reveals he’d been physically abused as a child. It’s amazing to hear about how he’s recently been able to release those negative emotions, which all started at a weekend retreat during a visualisation process which even had me choked up. I feel comfortable saying you will not be let down with Alexander’s story, energy and enthusiasm.

005: Everything Gets Better When You Get Better | with Ian Hawkins
In this episode I got a chance to interview Ian Hawkins who is a leadership and development coach. On the show we talk about how common it is for us Dads to spend so many years serving everyone else in their needs that we can forget what we want out of life. We go through his 3 step process to fixing that issue which is… 1. Get clear on your priorities 2. Know what you want to happen in life 3. Discover your key strengths. It all comes down to the basic idea that if we don’t first put the oxygen mask on ourselves, we cannot help anyone else. We also throw around some good Jim Rohn quotes when talking about the importance of personal development. Get ready for the moment where I totally nailed an impersonation of Jim. We finished the interview by talking about Ian’s morning routine which includes this crazy thing called oil pulling as well as his parting message to be patient with yourself.

004: Ninja Warrior Super Dad | with Jarrod L’Estrange
My guest today is Jarrod L’Estrange, a self professed SUPER DAD. His ambition is to help Dads to empower, educate and support each other to become real life Superheros to their family and their World. Even though he has such high ambitions, he doesn’t pretend to be perfect and takes us through some of the most vulnerable times in his life that many Dads can relate to. He’s got a pretty cool background from being a winning body builder with 3.8% body fat to competing in the first Australian Ninja Warrior (where he was ROBBED! Robbed I tell you). For this he credits his growth mindset approach to life and talks about how anyone can develop this same strategy to achieve what matters most in their own lives.

003: Own Your Shit, How to Let Go of Ego and Excuses to Get What You Want | with Peter Borda
My guest today is an amazing mindset coach who’s made it his mission to, as he puts it, help others Live Life Like a Holiday. In this session we talk about how owning your shit is the key to unlocking your true potential. Peter also provides a simple 5 step process to stay motivated which starts with getting clear on the vision you have for your life. I loved recording this session because Peter not only goes into the theory of the mind but also provides real practical actions you can take to upgrade any area of your life. He’s a pretty high energy dude so be ready to get jacked up and ready to take on the world.

My guest today is an unassuming plant based eating stud. In my conversation with Nate Feathers, we cover everything from the current state of plant based eating to Anthony Robbins to starting a Christmas light hanging business.
