We are so pleased to share this clip from of Power Dog’s adventures- a crossover tale of tails in which we visit the characters and places from Stories For Wonderful Children by our friend Dan Wendelin.
Special thanks to Jason Roark, our creative partner and ultimate Renaissance Bunny Supreme! He records, edits, and designs this show.
The Adventures of Power Dog in Dogland is created in the ancestral lands of the Multnomah, Wasco, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Cowlitz, bands of Chinook, Tualatin Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other Tribes of the first people who made their homes along the rivers.
🦴 A Paws-itively Important Adventure Begins! 🦴
Uh-oh! 😰 Power Dog's tail isn't wagging quite as much lately - those big mysteries and epic quests are making him feel a little ruff around the edges! Sometimes even the bravest pups need to learn how to handle those butterflies in their belly (or should we say... puppy-flies? 🦋).
We're barking about practical strategies for handling the big emotions that come with worry, stress, and anxiety. Just like learning to walk nicely on a leash, managing worries takes practice and the right tools. Our brave pup starts discovering that he doesn't have to let anxiety hound him. Will Power Dog learn to put those pesky worries on a leash? Can he discover the secret to adventuring with joy instead of jitters? 🤔✨
Perfect for: Kids learning about emotions, families navigating anxiety together, and anyone who wants to adventure through life with more confidence and less worry! 👪💕
Tune in and let's learn to unleash joy while keeping worries on a short leash! 🎧🐕🦺
Coming up throughout this season: More emotional adventure tools, friendship lessons, and of course... plenty of tail-wagging fun! 🎉

We’re so happy we can share this special Winter bonus episode with y'all! It’s a little different, and we threw it together rather quickly after the story just poured out of Hank one morning on the way to school. Special thanks to Jason Roark (http://www.jasonroark.com/) who records, edits, and designs this show. He also provides original music including our theme song, which is sung by him and the wonderful, talented Jen Bernard. Jason was not able to edit this episode, but he set Phoebe & Hank up for success and a fun learning opportunity, which they enjoyed wholeheartedly. They had a blast using the free and fantastic resources at freeSFX dot com (https://freesfx.co.uk/Default.aspx). We sourced nearly 30 fun sounds from their site! Colin Laurel (http://www.colinlaurel.com/) illustrated our cover art, which was directed by Jen Wick (https://www.fortwick.com/). Our song that plays at the very end of this episode is a song we wrote along with Hank’s Granny & Gramps, aka Murphy & Marckx . It's called “Power Dog, He Won’t Give Up!” If you catch a moment, and can follow, rate, and/or review the show, we would be so grateful! 🎃 🦝 Spooktacular side-quest special! 🦝 🎃
Please enjoy this replay of one of our all-time favorite episodes while we continue to work our waggly tails off making new episodes. It’s worth a listen or a re-listen for hints at characters and events to come during future Season Tree 🌲 episodes!
This story can be listened to without having listened to our serial episodes in any of our seasons by lovers of Halloween, fall, animated vegetables, pranks, and cuties.
We wrote the Halloween song that plays at the end of our episodes along with Hank’s Granny, aka Jean Murphy! The song is called “Howl-o-ween!”
Special thanks to our creative partner Jason Roark who records, edits, and designs this show. He also provides original music including our opening theme song, which is sung & performed by him and the wonderful, talented Jen Bernard. This episode featured a bit of Jason's Howl-o-ween version of a family favorite song, In the Hall of Mountain King by Grieg, who hated the song and wrote it to be a parody of the music of the time that he disliked. We love all of Peer Gynt and encourage you to check it out!
This episode's cover art is by Mom Slice and features our original Power Dog illustration by Matthew Hayes.

This is a very special bonus episode of The Adventures of Power Dog in Dogland that we decided to make during Summer break because we got to learn more about some superpower dogs right here on planet Earth this summer. Our deaf-blind cousin Lindy came to visit us and attended a summer camp created by Guide Dogs for the Blind. When we reached out to the organization, they were happy to teach us more through emails, conversations, and even a tour of the Guide Dogs for the Blind campus in Oregon.
In this episode, you are going to hear our talks with cousin Lindy before camp, Outreach Specialist Jane Flower, and then Lindy again, after camp. Not only did we learn about Camp GDB, but we also learned about the very 🐾pawesome🐾 K9 Buddy Program.
Thank you to Lindy and Jane!

Who's ready to get this party startled?!
We love Halloween and jokes so much that we decided to throw together this bonus episode of just super fun Howl-o-ween dog jokes and some of our favorite regular Halloween jokes for spooky season.
And, if you haven't yet, be sure to check out our super sweet "Howl-o-ween" special! It’s a fun, exciting, and magical tale of tails- about a pair of young raccoon-type twin dogs living on Dogland. This story can be listened to without having listened to our serial episodes in Seasons 1 & 2. Although the story has some mild suspense and Halloween-adjacent fun, it is mostly fun and silly and meant to delight young listeners (age 4+) and old. It will lift your spirits and give 'em pumpkin to talk about!
