Bonus | REPOST! Cousin Lindy Visits Guide Dogs for the Blind

July marks Disability Pride Month across America, and we are celebrating by giving our bonus episode with our wonderful deaf-blind cousin Lindy a relisten and repost!

And, If you love stories, then check out Storypillar, a podcast for kids and their grownups. Join Sneak, Bean, Sparky, and Meg as they tackle sticky social situations, explore stories from all over the world, and pick up great advice from listeners–like you! They also save plenty of time for laughing and being silly…so if you’ve got feelings, love stories, and are up for a fart joke or ten, Storypillar is definitely worth a listen. Check it out at www.storypillar.com or wherever you love listening to podcasts.

This is a very special bonus episode of The Adventures of Power Dog in Dogland that we decided to make during Summer break because we got to learn more about some superpower dogs right here on planet Earth this summer. Our deaf-blind cousin Lindy came to visit us and attended a summer camp created by Guide Dogs for the Blind. When we reached out to the organization, they were happy to teach us more through emails, conversations, and even a tour of the Guide Dogs for the Blind campus in Oregon.
In this episode, you are going to hear our talks with cousin Lindy before camp, Outreach Specialist Jane Flower, and then Lindy again, after camp. Not only did we learn about Camp GDB, but we also learned about the very 🐾pawesome🐾 K9 Buddy Program.
Thank you to Lindy and Jane!

Special thanks to our creative partner Jason Roark who records, edits, and designs this show. He also provides original music including our opening theme song, which is sung & performed by him and the wonderful, talented Jen Bernard.

Colin Laurel illustrated our cover art, which was directed by Jen Wick.
