There’s a saying that says, “Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.” What are those moments? Do you have a few in mind already? When you have moments that stand out, they often align with elements that mean a lot to us. Documenting these moments can help you see your past in a different light.
In this episode, I will walk you through an exercise that will help you take stock of your life---what moments are defining moments that stand out, what accomplishments have you achieved, and we will discuss how this translates into a practice that helps you see how the components of your life can propel you forward with change.

“Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.” ~Coco Chanel. Being yourself, your authentic self seems like a simple concept. Just be you---but It’s not that easy. When looking at who you are there are many layers of your identity as a person. In fact, there is a branch of humanistic psychology--which studies the whole person and the uniqueness of each individual.
In this episode, we explore the foundation of humanistic psychology. We will learn about theories that are rooted in the understanding of self-actualization and the congruence of self-image and the ideal self. And discuss how letting go of expectations of your ideal self can help you understand who you really are as a person.
