Tristan’s still away, so the girls will play! Today’s pod is all about teenage laughter, life lessons, and the late nights that helped shape a career with horses - as Pippa is joined by one of her oldest friends and ex 5* eventer, Justine Ward. The pair met in 1987 and have been on quite a journey from young apprentices to competing at the highest level. Learning their trade in the legendary Ruth McMullen’s yard, Pippa and Justine explore the incredible grounding it gave them… and just how much of their wages ended up in the local.
Justine also shares what it’s like to return to eventing in your 50s — and the time she got very carried away at Pippa’s horse auction.
