This episode is all about the games, oh yeah! Most of it anyway. We get into Stray, Neon White, and oh yeah, what about those pesky JRPG tutorial phases? Also that Flubber movie scene where the slime almost kills a man.

Have you ever wondered what Game of Thrones was about? Bernie and Mike sure have considered that question before. Thankfully for them and you, resident expert Phil is here to draw up some shocking similarities between Project Triangle Strategy: Salt War, Stranger Things, and George "Ready Rice" Martin's epic tell of vision series that will leave you saying "huh??!". All that and more as we dig our forks into a recent Sony Plate-of-Stay. There's Street Fighter, there's Final Fantasy, there's rollerblading shooters, and so much more in this absolutely wild installment of Super Beet Podcast.
Huh? Kept you waiting?? Yeah sorry I know. Mike moved so the podcast thing has been delayed significantly, but now we're back and we're trying something new. You all like videos or so I have heard. Well in that case, here's a little something special just for you; the Super Beet Video Podcast debut. This is back from when we only talked about Elden Ring, although I wouldn't blame you if you thought it was from just yesterday or perhaps the future.
If you'd like to send a question or message to be read on the show, be sure to email superb33t@gmail.com. Nothing too nasty now!
Hey there gang, you know we like to keep it loose around here right? That's right. Truth is, we're going to talk about Elden Ring in each episode for about another year, so this is the last time I'll warn you in the description. After that, I kind of forget what happened. Must be a very long segment about Sekiro and Save Private Ryan judging by the thumbnail. I'll let you in on a little secret though. The next episode is gonna be crazy and blow your mind. This one is ok, but that next one is like, damn. See ya!
This week* on Super Beet Podcast; The slap heard 'round the world, the game we hate to love, the televised dating experience of Bernie, the twisted government secrets held inside Phil's mind palace that they don't want you to know, the second attempt at roasting a Kotaku writer but then going "Actually you guys, I kind of agree with what they're saying here." and giving up on the segment. Big bonus episode vibes from this one gang. We'll be back with a heavy hitter next time though. As always, be sure to hit up our YouTube channel to get more of where this came from. Or don't. God has abandoned us, you are in charge of your own destiny.

CLICKBAIT TITLE. We only talk about state of play for a minute. Not even sure if we get into conspiracy theories on this one. There was some Gundam talk, a bit of Beastly Boys, some kind of recap on The Batman (only Phil saw it) and all three of us dig in a little deeper into our Elden Ring opinions. I know you've heard of a deep dive but have you ever heard of an adult swim episode? That's right, it's not you're favorite cartoon channel, it's a few guys wandering around the shallow end on this one. But we are always here for you. Comments and questions should be sent to superb33t@gmail.com, and the more video friendly audience should direct themselves to Super Beet podcast on YouTube. Buh-bye!
Wake up, wake up oh pathetic little undead one. The podcasting gods have fallen and only darkness remains, thus, it is now your problem to travel the wastes of the kingdom and repair what once was. Plunge into the depths of your phone and complete every episode of Super Beet Podcast. Along the way you will gain access to the forbidden Super Beet YouTube where you must face like 100 videos. Only then will chaos become order, or whatever. Rise from your slumber tiny listener, post-haste! O! What a glorious episode we have for you!
I'm tired. It's a long episode. We go over literally every game or thing they talked about in the most recent (Feb. 2022) Nintendo Direct. Nobody likes baseball. Wii Sports 2. F Zero isn't worthwhile but boy we are excited to pay for 46 old Mario Kart tracks. Mike learns how many Earthbound games exist. AND MORE. Be sure to listen to the end for a return of a segment that people like. That's right, ONE STAR is back.
Coming up next, wait, what's this podcast about again? I thought these guys were supposed to talk about video games?? So Tell Me Why they talk about Minecraft for like 20 minutes or something? Everyone has been there and done that, come on! I Want Action. Hang on, hold on, I'm picking something up... Adam Driver... Spike Jolie? Department of Home and Security? Where are the games? I Want Some, Need Some! Didn't the Chinese film Fight Club hit the USA in the 90s? I'm very confused about the ending of this episode too, but I have a hope and a prayer that these guys will give me Something To Believe In. So Let it Play beeters, because you never know, this episode might be the Best Thing You Ever Had.
Since the dawn of time there was a beat. A pulse resonating between plant and animal, man and beast, god and demon. A unifying timbre that would awaken the primal instinct of self preservation and provide assistance in visual storytelling. Yes, although unaware, even you have been subject to its devastating power through and through. The video game soundtrack. Wise men have called it "OST". It has been documented in such great scriptures as Sonic Hedgehog 3: Knuckles, The Final Fantasy XIV, Tony Honk's Legacy, Earthbound and Down, and countless others. Join us as we dive into Uncharted territory and reveal the innermost secrets unknown to those of us who walk the planet, and beware! We talk about Tony Hawk games for half an hour.
I'll be honest, it took me a very long time to edit this, don't blame Bernie or Phil. Don't blame me either! This week, we like, really go over how Phil just watched Matrix for the first time. We get into Master Chief's head (or should I say bed), we get into Halo Ultimate or whatever, we get into our first annual yearly personal favorite game wrap up, but the best part about it is we do it all with our second guest ever. That is right it is Josh, resident Halo and Matrix expert (convenient). Come celebrate the New Year Eve with us on (one of our) wildest shows yet.
HO HO HO every listener gets a lump of coal this year! And by lump of coal, I mean this episode. Coal is dense and rich with potential energy and unique insight. Join us as we look back at simpler times of Christmas past where bad games were good, before animes had been adapted to live action, before sex was uncool, before Mike fell prey to The Big O (he doesn't know what that is). This is a very special episode so you'd best treat it right.
Over 4 years after its initial announcement, Shin Megami Tensei V is finally out in the wild, and in our hands. Words can't really come close to expressing the collective anticipation Bernie and Phil collectively possessed towards this game, but believe us when we say that it has truly been a dream come true to finally be able to play this game. Although Bernie has already finished his first playthrough, we mean for this episode to be a first impressions of sorts, touching on what Phil and Bernie felt, as series veterans, as well as what Mike felt as a series newcomer. There are some early game spoilers, but nothing you wouldn't have seen from viewing the trailers.
"OwO henlo fren, i think you step in something."
*you look under shoe to see new podcast
"O.O!!!!! is that the new Super Beet podcast??? let me see dat!"
*pulls podcast from your shoe
"lol XD... this is funniest podcast i ever seen! i really like when Bernie talk about Skyrim day, and Phil sounded so hot when he talking about the GTA Trilogy remasters. (◕ ‸ ◕) Mike sound very sad when he talk about Metroid tho, is he ok??? plz respond?"
It's old news! Yup, we had so much content coming out on our YOUTUBE page (thanks Bernie) that Mike forgot to edit our last episode (this one)! Remember Halo? You're gonna be surprised when you see what he looks like now. Remember Metroid? Mike started playing her new game last month. Remember Bowser? We're trying to set him up with Kraid. Remember Leon S. Kennedy? He got CENSORED!!! Forward all complaints to superb33t@gmail.com
Big news last week! No where is safe. Lock up your Twitch, hide your Facebook, run for your life. Everything is getting hacked or leaked, but don't worry! WE are here to KEEP YOU SAFE. All you have to do to gain access to these quick secrets that they don't want you to know about is to listen to a couple of these ads that we have lined up for you here. But the real news coming at you on Super Beet this week (and I'm serious) is that we started a Patreon (patreon.com/superbeet) for our faithful listeners out there. Even though we have some cool stuff lined up for you, we want to hear from you about what we can do as far as bonus content goes. Be sure to email superb33t@gmail.com with any ideas or suggestions you've got. Ok love you, goodnight.
News and aliens. These are the only two constants in our universe. Forget what you know about death, and taxes, we're here to set you straight on crafting in video games, some new Playstation games that are set to come out, and the controversial Nvidia leak. Phil also is here to talk about how he's through with the governments relationship with aliens.
Oh my god! We did it. The big leagues. A milestone. Major league. Go pro. That's right, it's the first official guest on Super Beet Podcast. Also, you won't believe your ears with this one important detail. Yes, it's our first recording IN STUDIO. That's right gang, the check went through, we hired some college hunks to move us in, Super Beet HQ is fully functional. Join us and our special guest, the man known only as Kenny, on an uncut unrated wild extra large episode where we meander around the worlds of our childhood games, discuss the real life anime characters we were blessed enough to grow up with, reveal strange things your PS2 can be used for (nsfw), and reveal our absolutely planned new segment Tab Check. What's that? What did you just say?? Oh, you're welcome. No problem. Happy to be of help.
Oh no gang, you're in for it this time. G4 is back from the dead (or is it?), the new Eva movie just came out (a while ago), and Phil does his best Gary Cooper impersonation (conspiracy guy) on this roller coaster of a ride of an auditory experience. Ok that's it for this 'sode's write up, I'm tired! Catch you next time, that is, if you make it through this hell house of horrors. P.S. if you like us or love us, let us know and be sure to google Super Beet Podcast to see our stuff we toss up on other popular platforms such as just YouTube. We play games and do the same stuff you "see" here. P.S.S rumor has it that next episode will feature our first ever guest on the show (not famous)! Tune on back now, do you hear?
This is the way the world ends, not with a whimper, but on Phil's 29th birthday. Now I know what you're saying, "Why does everyone keep telling me all the things I'm saying are out of date by at least two weeks???" Hate to break it to ya, it's because you're getting all your news from the Super Beet Podcast. Come on gang, everyone knows you should get your info from multiple sources. But we love you anyway. The good news is, you're gonna learn a lot about how we feel about stuff this week, specifically James Bond and his wife, the new installment in the Taken series, and you're gonna hear an actually relevant live reaction as we watch the new* SMT 5 trailer. Ok.
