Although the Crips started on the Eastside by Raymond Washington, it was the Westside Crips making the news headlines in 1972 with the murder of Robert Ballou at the Hollywood Palladium. Alex Alonso interviews Studder Box from Pueblo Bishop Bloods in episode 14 of the Street TV podcast. Studder Box first got acquainted with street gangs when he was living in Compton in the Lueders Park Piru area, then he moved to the Pueblo Del Rio Housing Projects and became a member of the Pueblo Bishop Bloods. Walter "Pa-hoo" Watson became a Slauson Village member during the 1950s in Los Angeles. After the Watts Riots of 1965 he was sent to prison where he got involved with the Black Guerrilla Family.

Greg Mack is the legendary radio DJ from 1580 KDAY in Los Angeles during the early years of west coast Hip-Hop. Alex Alonso interviews Greg Mack about the period from 1983 to 1990 when KDAY witness the beginnings of Eazy E, Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, Ice Cube, and several other rapper's career.

Chico "Leroy" Brown grew up in Compton California and was a member of the Corner Poccet Crips. He became a know street hustler supply large amounts of cocaine through the city. He even linked up with Freeway Ricky Ross and ended up serving 8-years in prison for cocaine trafficking.

Alex Alonso sits down with Mexican Cartel hitman who worked for the Arrellano-Felix organization based in Tijuana , Mexico.  When Martin was serving prison time in the early 1990s he linked with a contact to David "Popeye" Barron from San Diego's Barrio Logan. Popeye was connected to the Arrellano-Felix cartel since 1990 and by 1992 held a high position in the organization. When Martin was released from prison he meets with Popeye and starts working for him as a hitman.

In episode two Alex A. Alonso interviews Big Spider from the PlayBoy Gangster Crips (PBG). They are located west of LaCienega Blvd in a community known then as Cadillac-Corning.  The City of Los Angeles has renamed this community La Cienega Heights and it has been experiencing gentrification and a Jewish resurgence.
