Happy June! June 5th was World Earth Day! This was Kaylin's first time hearing about it (oops). Also, June means it is time to bust out the Bucket Lists and review them to see how you are doing in your progress. Kaylin is doing great on some and getting nowhere on some others.

Also, it is the kickoff to Black History Month and Kaylin discusses the fascinating story of Claudette Colvin. Never heard of her? Well, listen in and learn!
Kaylin is BACK!!!!! It has been far too long! Warning, there is a LOOOONG catch up segment because so much has been going on for the past month. If you are not into the catching up, just fast forward a bit to the main discussion about bucket list fails and achievements as well as 2024's challenges.

www.startingsustainability.com Sometimes marketing sustainability succeeds and most often is seems like it fails or ends of being greenwashing. Kaylin found three big companies who are putting in a great effort, doing things right, and have marketing techniques that worked!
Startingsustainability.com Halloween is right around the corner and I have been saving this weird and slightly sustainability related story just for this event.
www.startingsustainability.com It's officially SPOOKY season! Kaylin is going a little off of the traditional trail. This episode is a creepy and oddly sustainable story all about how back in the 1960's littering in Glacier National Park led to the first fatal bear attack in the parks history.
www.startingsustainability.com Kaylin and her family are back from vacation...it could have been better. There is a new term scientist are using, global boiling. The main topic of this episode is the black market behind venus flytraps. Apparently, that is a thing. Listen in to learn all about the seriously ridiculous crime behind the carnivorous plant.
www.startingsustainability.com Reflecting on why Kaylin started this podcast. She wanted to know how to be sustainable, but in a simple manor. In this episode Kaylin goes back to the basics. She took last episode's challenge seriously and kept track of her trash for almost 24 hours and figured out how to repurpose it. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
