What is generational wealth?
"The simple answer is do what your parents did but do it better. Stop starting from scratch and start investing in your family businesses and generational talents. You have a better shot at success when you invest in your bloodline. As a man, putting food on the table should be priority number 1. Therefore, if you have a unique opportunity to learn and earn from what your family does, you should hop on it as soon as possible. Yes, sometimes that means fighting your parents on this decision. Yes, sometimes that means putting your passions on pause and investing most of your time in the family talents. Yes, that means you'll be unhappy sometimes. But where in the history of mankind has man's happiness been the priority for his survival? "
Listen to Tinashe explain how his experience helped him understand what he needed to do.
"Being a parent is no easy task. It is made even harder when two people who once consented to having sexual relations fail to put their emotions aside for the good of the child that they've brought into the world. For many reasons most of which are perpetuated by today's society, young fathers are failing to stay in their children's lives and young mothers are failing to recognize the importance of a father in their children's lives. Whether or not one admits it to themselves, this has an adverse effect on the child as an adult, and it is very selfish to put your personal vendetta against your "partner" over the wellbeing of a child that never asked to the brought on this planet. Broken homes mean broken communities, and a broken community will always be subservient to another."

That's the easiest and (yet very effective) self-destructive excuse you can give yourself to not put in the work.
