That's the easiest and (yet very effective) self-destructive excuse you can give yourself to not put in the work.

At the end of the day, when all is said and done, there's only one person responsible for your life. Your success, you happiness and peace of mind is all in the hands of one individual. That person can be key to your fulfillment or the very thing that's standing in the way. The person standing in your way isn't that far away. If you look no further than the mirror, you'll find him.
