Gilbert is in his 4th year at UBC studying food nutrition and health and has had an interesting past with relationships and developing his queer identity. Karene is the mother to an undisclosed number of plants, she will not tell me the exact number in case she accidentally kills one (don’t tell The Ministry). She is the proud giver of a HelloFresh coupon to Sean who received 4 free meals (true friendship), a sustainable energy engineering major at Simon Fraser University, and a longtime friend. Join me as I ask Karene about her mid-degree crisis, love while in co-op, self-discovery, and all the good jams that went with it. Liam is a 3rd-year Asian Studies major at UBC, hailing from the great state of Ohio in the US of A. When he isn’t stressed about school, he likes making a mean pot roast, going for late-night adventures, and (From Sean’s Perspective) flat out vibing.
