This week we interview Claire, an up and coming visual artist, a fan of banana pudding (to Sean’s confusion), a friend, and a nurse on the side. Hailing from Abbotsford BC, Claire’s relationship with music has been shaped by folky influences that run deep in the Fraser Valley. Her mix of contemporary folk, indie, and instrumentals, paired with rich influences from the 70s folk scene allows for a compelling look into her season of life. In this episode, we talk about Abbotsford hipsters, reclaiming power in sex, and the inevitabilities of dating a musician.
*Please note that in this episode we discuss sexual violence. If you need support with similar situations don’t hesitate to reach out to my good friends at UBC’s Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office or the AMS’ Sexual Violence Support Center
Regardless of your Gender, Sex, Race, Ethnicity or Sexual Orientation help is available and you are not alone!
