John and Laurie are joined by Daris making his second appearance but first as a regular. We have a guest too as football writer and Motherwell fan, Ben Banks joins us.
We kick off the football chat by focusing on Kilmarnock and their recent poor run of form.
This leads on to debate as to whether Laurie should watch a different sport.
There is League Cup semis chat with Daris being delighted and Ben getting free therapy after Motherwell were pumped.
The podcast was recorded on the same day that the Scotland squad was announced. Inevitably this means there is chat about the goalie situation, shortage of centre backs and the hope for a top class striker.

Ricky hosts for the first time with John and they are joined by Steven, singer and guitarist from Future Colours. Steven talks about his lifelong loyalty to Greenock Morton F.C. (yes — the “Ton”), the local legend of the “Greenock cat man”, and of course his all-time Morton Best Eleven.
Future Colours formed out of a shared love for jangly guitars, big hooks and honest vocals — they aim to marry that classic indie-pop energy with a bit of Scottish soul. They've been gigging around Scotland, recording demos, and now on to their next phase with their upcoming single “Coast”.
There is your usual random food and drink chat plus much more.
“Coast” – the new track from Future Colours lands in November. Future Colours will be playing Audio on 22nd November (doors 7pm). Expect live versions of our old favourites plus newer stuff too.

John is back on hosting duties and joined by regulars Charlie, Danny and Jeff.
Jeff is delighted as he has a fellow Dundee United fan in Nick Mercer from Sergeant on.
You can follow the band on Instagram and Facebook by searching Forza Sergeant.
We kick things off by chatting about Dundee United's game at Ibrox on Saturday and thoughts on the season so far.
There is plenty of music chat as the band are due to release their latest single later this week. Keep your eyes and ears peeled on your usual music places.
Nick reflects on supporting Oasis, being signed to a major record label and much more musically.
The guys all discuss their first gig after COVID with some great stories.
As is tradition with our guests, we have some quick fire questions, questions from listeners and the show stopper as Nick picks his Dundee United best eleven.
There is even a couple of guest appearances from Nick's daughters.

In this episode, John and Krys are joined by author Steven Lawther to discuss his latest book, "We Led in Munich: the Unlikely Adventures of Raith Rovers in Europe".
The book is effectively a follow up to Steven's "Unthinkable: Raith Rovers Improbably Journey from the Bottom of Scottish Football" in which Raith Rovers went on to win the League Cup in November 1994 and thus qualify for Europe.
Starting off discussing the book itself, and the upcoming book launch event at Waterstones Kirkcaldy branch, chat inevitably turns to a good old fashioned throwback. The guys reflect on the League Cup run, culminating in penalty shootout success in the final at Ibrox.
Back in the good old days, a League Cup win came with a European spot so Raith drew the short straw - twice - with some awkward trips north before winning the golden ticket to Germany. Steven takes us through his own experiences of that European run, and Krys even reflects on his own oddly similar Munich experiences eight years later.
The book itself is out on Monday, so be sure to check it out as well as Steven's other books which also include "Arrival: How Scotland's Women Took Their Place on the World Stage and Inspired a Generation", a look at SWNT's 2019 World Cup finals experience.

Our latest episode has a special intro from our friend across the water who prefers soccer to football.
John, Charlie, Danny and Laurie are joined by Ethan from The Dugout.
The show kicks off with some League Cup chat, pressure at Aberdeen and only one happy camper in the cup.
Danny is keen to stress that Simo's Sexy Saints won again and everything is perfect in Perth.
Charlie leads a segment about the standard of refereeing this season and the abysmal use of VAR with decisions being reversed after the KMI panel looks at them.
On the back of this we discuss ways the system could be improved.
It takes a while for the podcast to come to a climax which is no surprise with so many passionate people on.
Laurie now has a new nickname but if you can think of a better one, get in touch.
Oh, coming soon we'll have a 2020 throwback in the days where you could get plenty beer but struggled for pasta and toilet paper.

The greatest 5 a side team assembled since Trainspotting on the latest show with John, Charlie, Danny, Graeme D and Josh.
We kick things off with Josh's adventures in Denmark where you can have a game of bingo for everything that happened to him.
A positive couple of results leads to plenty of interesting chat about Scotland's professionalism.
There is room for debate too as we all want to see the national team do even better.
The podcast finishes off with a new quiz and excuses why some of the other regulars couldn't make the episode.

Charlie is joined for the second episode this week by three of the lads from one of his favourite bands about just now — The Rants. Logan and Shay jump on for a chat about how they came together, where the name came from, and the influences that have shaped their sound.
We dive into their debut EP Ode To a Broken Soul, the stories behind them, and which songs they love playing most live. We also talk about their favourite gigs so far, highlights from a massive year, and their big slot at Tenement Trail next month alongside the likes of Dead Pony, Gallus and Callum Stewart.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the podcast without some football chat. We cover childhood memories, who they support, Scotland’s latest games, which stadium they’d play halftime at, and even compare each band member to a footballer. There’s also the all-important question: if The Rants were a five-a-side team, who’s scoring goals, who’s stuck in nets, and who’s definitely getting sent off?
We wrap it all up with some quick-fire questions, listener Q’s, and a good old rant about the modern game.
Plenty of laughs, music, and football chat in this one — make sure to follow The Rants on Instagram and Spotify, and get stuck in.

John, Jeff and Josh are joined by football author Shareef Abdullah.
There is chat about his recent book 'Five in a Row' about Scotland at Italia 90.
The inspiration behind Shareef's decision to write the book and favourite memories of the tournament are explored.
We reflect on the strength of our squad back then with there being some top players who never even made it to the tournament.
Scotland start their upcoming campaign with a double header away to Denmark and Belarus. There is discussion around the squad and whether there were any glaring omissions.
This leads to a slightly heated debate about certain players.
The podcast was recorded on the night of deadline day which was typically finished before some of the biggest deals were finalised.
We finish off by discussing some of the weekend action, European draws and some quick fire questions for Shareef.

There is plenty of great chat to get in your ears as Evan discusses the buzz of playing in Germany during the Euros with some surreal moments.
Evan is a Kilmarnock fan so there is some chat about that including some projects he has done with the club.
You can catch Evan at Prestfest this weekend which is a cracking festival in Prestwick.
We finish off with some fun stuff in a cracking first football/music special of the season.

Paul hosted with regulars Graeme, John and Josh for the latest tier 5 and below pod.
There was chat to begin with in terms of where we're been so far this season.
The boys from the West had a shoot out as they discussed their respective teams.
Graeme gave us an insight in to what's happening in the North.
Rory watch took place as he continues his quest to score against every team he has played against.
Our own version of last team standing was discussed in terms of teams we predicted to be last to lose in Scotland.
Josh gave an insight in to his love for Darvel football club and all his other favourite teams.
Paul and Graeme went head to head as they discussed what the better football city was out of Aberdeen and Dundee.
If you've never been before to tier 5 and below then get yourself to a game. Excellent value, usually a decent amount of goals and you might just discover your new favourite ground.

We look at the four teams, their summers, starts to the season and areas to strengthen before the transfer window closes.
There is a real air of optimism from the fans of the so-called 'bottom four,' even at Dens Park, with Elvis appearing to settle in the building.

Vietnam John is still recovering from his trip in eastern asia with a bad case of Eat-Pray-Love, or in his case, Eat-Beer-FakeFootballKits - so Chaz and Josh are back in the hot seat to preview the top 4 of last year's premiership season!
They're joined by returning guest Rangers fan Andy L, DUFC Stato Andy W & Celtic fan Ethan to go through opening day, transfer windows and the coming season.
1 game in it offers a space for Andy L and Josh to cathartically express their dismay at another pathetic league opener, Ethan his dismay at Celtic waiting for Champions League money before signing players to excite the fans, Charlie a chance to wax lyrical about Hibs' oncoming season and Andy W a chance to promote the antiracist values of the good people of Dundee.
Here we go!

Three weeks, three different podcasts hosts. With St Johnstone's relegation last season, Danny has picked up the mantle of hosting the Championship podcasts this season and straight out the gate he's managed to get a full quota of fellow fans from across the league.
He's joined by Airdrie fan Katie, Arbroath fan Fairmer (or Alan to give him his Sunday name), Ayr United fan Cammy, Dunfermline fan Adam, Morton fan Robert, Partick Thistle fan Heather, Queen's Park fan David, Raith Rovers fan Ally, and Ross County fan Ross.
As always at this point in the season, especially after some good League Cup group stage campaigns, it's mostly a podcast of optimism. The hopes and aspirations for the coming league campaign are covered, along with how the teams have changed in terms of squad from last season.
Everyone has their own predictions of how they'll get on this season too, all the great stuff you'd expect from the always competitive second tier of Scottish Football really!
