Care warning: Sexual and substance abuse will be discussed in this episode.
Brinn Langdale held a secret until she was 18 that she had been sexually abused by a close family member for 12 years. Substances, self-harm, eating disorders, and unhealthy relationships were how she coped until she was faced with a choice. The choice to heal her wounds wasn't easy, but it was necessary for a better life. Now, as a therapist, speaker, and author she hopes to inspire others and share her message that healing, recovery, and forgiveness is possible.

Paul Forchione was born with cerebral palsy and it was so severe that the doctors told his mom that he would never be able to walk. Thank goodness for a wonderful mom and a great mindset that wasn’t his story! He was able to overcome it and is now able to live a very active life. It wasn’t easy, however, to get to that point. Today, as a Mindset Coach, Paul shares his story with his clients to help them rewrite their own stories to go after their true dreams and desires.

As an internationally recognized speaker, trainer and coach with unique qualifications and expertise in working with teens, their mentors, parents and teachers. “Sensei Dave” Armstrong has spoken on many international stages, delivering compelling messages of hope, empowerment and tangible/practical advice. Sensei Dave is a foster care alumni that grew up as a product of a broken family, in and out of youth correctional facilities, foster homes and group homes, all while dealing with the death of his only parent (his mother) when he was 13 years old. After overcoming all of these obstacles in life and defying his destiny, he decided to serve humanity by dedicating 20+ years towards helping people better their lives and their relationships with their children or the children they work with. After Sensei Dave retired from 24-years of Active Duty Military Service in the U.S. Air Force, he decided to open Unlimited Potential Network Academy Coaching, to publish his amazing motivational autobiography to inspire Caring Adults working with our youth, and start a program called “The Speakers Meet-Up" for aspiring speakers to find and refine their inner-voice for the world.
