Help! My Friends Won't Stop Talking About Their Diets!
It's the Season 5 finale, and we're kicking it old school with some extremely uplifting Food News about The Ghost of Diet Culture's Past, aka Gwyneth Paltrow, who announced that she's eating bread and cheese again! Then we open up the Mailbag to read a dear listener's "I Have a Bone to Pick" as well as a listener advice question. Thank you all for an incredible podcast season! Peace, love, RIP Diets.

Cronuts and Crookies and Crumbl... Oh My!
Today we're talking all about Food Trends, with a special focus on desserts! I invited on professional baker, marshmallow maven, and fellow podcaster, Katherine Sprung, to talk all about how certain foods become trendy, if it's worth it to participate in the trends, and how the food trend cycle affects the seller as well as the consumer. This was a really interesting look at the hype machine that made the whole world obsessed with Cronuts, Crookies, Dubai Chocolate, and the monstrosity that is Crumbl. We also get nostalgic and revisit food trends that we participated in, and others that left us very confused. We also answer the age old question - is anything truly worth waiting in line to try?

I Have A Bone To Pick With The Tradwife Aesthetic! with Abbey Roberts
It's another Thursday episode, and I brought back my Tuesday guest, Abbey Roberts RD, to complain some more with me! Abbey has a bone to pick with Tradwifery and everything that goes along with it. This was one of the best shit talking sessions yet and we really did not hold anything back. Hold onto your sourdough starters because we're coming for them too!!!

What is MAHA and Why is it So F*cking Stupid?
Oh boy... today we're talking all about MAHA, aka Make America Healthy Again, aka the pile of trash that is RFK Jr.'s public health agenda. I have a great conversation with Registered Dietician and one of my personal faves on Instagram, Abbey Roberts, about what MAHA is, why we should all be very skeptical of every single thing RFK Jr. says, and how the current conversation around public health is becoming a BIG distraction so that we don't pay attention to the things that actually matter.

I Have A Bone To Pick With Celebs Who Deny Their Cosmetic Work! with My BFF Erica
PSA TO THE MOURNERS: We had some tech issues during the recording of this episode, and the sound quality is compromised. It's not up to my usual standards, and I sincerely apologize to you all! I improved it as much as I could, and I thought the content of the episode was funny, so I made the decision to still publish it. Just a tip - it sounds slightly better if you listen through speakers instead of headphones. Erica is back for another "I Have a Bone To Pick" Thursday! Today we have a bone to pick with celebrities who deny having any plastic surgery or cosmetic work, but we all know it's a lie. This conversation was a bit unhinged, but it was also one of the most passionate Bones to Pick we've had so far.

PCOS Queens and Endo Baddies
This episode is all about PCOS and Endometriosis awareness. These are chronic gynecological conditions that often go under the radar or get swept under the rug, and many women are powering through symptoms that are uncomfortable, painful, and often debilitating. First, I have a conversation with friend of the show, Macy Eleni, about her unique experience getting diagnosed and treated for Endometriosis, and she explains how Endo has affected her life and how assertive she has been with various doctors in order to get the medical attention she needed. I also have a conversation with content creator and PCOS warrior, Erika Hoang, who describes just how long it took to get answers about her symptoms and the lifestyle changes she has made in order to be her healthiest and happiest self. Please keep in mind that these are both personal accounts by women who have these chronic conditions, and it does not constitute medical advice. This episode is really about ~advocating for yourself~ and why you should always trust yourself when it comes to your own body!

I Have A Bone To Pick with SkinnyTok! with Sam Previte
My fabulous guest from the Tuesday episode, Sam Previte, is BACK, and she has a bone to pick with #SkinnyTok! Oh boy, we are pretty riled up for this one. You're telling me that the same pro-ana content from the 2010s Tumblr era is back, but this time in VIDEO form? Nope - not today, Satan!!!! Sam and I call out some of the toxic AF videos we have seen, and complain about how this type of content pretends to promote "healthy habits", but actually promotes full-on disordered eating behaviors. It's a Bone to Pick for the ages!

How To Raise Intuitive Eaters
Have you ever wondered how to break the generational cycle of poor body image and disordered eating? This is the episode for you! I discuss all my fears when it comes to having kids, the biggest one being the fear of passing on my own messed up relationship with food. Then I bring in Registered Dietician, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and Mother of two kids, Sam Previte, to talk about how we can break the cycle and reinforce a positive relationship with food from the very beginning with our kids, and continue on through different phases of childhood.

I Have A Bone To Pick With Being Called A "Basic Bitch"! with Melissa Lubin
I have my sis Meliss (who is better than me) on the podcast this week for "I Have a Bone To Pick", and we're discussing a truly important girlhood issue that doesn't get talked about enough... why are we called "basic bitches" for simply enjoying things that everyone likes? We've had enough and we won't be silenced any longer! Melissa and I discuss our most "basic" interests, the "Millennial-core" aesthetic, the agony of trying to find unique clothes, and our favorite basic beverages, as well as so many other things! This is a little break from the typical diet culture topics, but let's be honest, diet culture is also super basic and deserves an honorable mention. If you love my sis, let me know and I will bring her back!

I'm Working on Self Acceptance, But I Miss My Smaller Body
It's a mailbag episode! I'm answering some listener advice questions and giving my two cents. One listener is struggling with accepting her new body while dealing with symptoms related to a hormone imbalance. Another is wondering how to even approach quitting smoking and drinking. And finally, a listener wonders how to tell her meat-and-potatoes loving boyfriend that sometimes she just wants to have a girl dinner! I'll be answering some more advice questions in the future, so if you would like to be featured anonymously, you can submit via email or Instagram DM (more details below)!

I Have a Bone To Pick With All The Pseudoscience! with Charlotte Palermino
Whew baby, we're back with another round of "I Have a Bone to Pick" featuring return guest and brilliant skincare maven, Charlotte Palermino! After educating us on the Tuesday episode, she is ready to blow off some steam and talk shit about all things DIETS and WELLNESS! The fact is... there are no facts! None of it is rooted in science. The majority of "wellness" is really about the pursuit of thinness, and we already know this. I bond with Charlotte over being stigmatized as a young child for being "chubby", being sent to camps that forced us to lose weight (although hers wasn't even technically a fat camp), and being asked "What's your secret?" when the answer is almost always GENETICS! This is a very passionate bone to pick for both of us, and will make you want to rail against the machine (hell yeah).

Is it Time to Start Using Retinol?
It's about time we talk about aging. First, I talk about Nikki Glaser's recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and react to her apparent plan to get a facelift at age 40, as well as other comments she has made about aging and her lifelong insecurities. Then, I talk about my love of skincare and the potential it has to slow down signs of aging (and whether that is even something we SHOULD strive for)! I talk about my recent exploration of Retinol, and bring in the founder of Dieux Skin, Charlotte Palermino, to give a thorough Retinol rundown, including tips, tricks, and product recommendations! See below for links to Charlotte's suggested retinol products for beginners and intermediates.

I Have a Bone To Pick With Men Who "Hate" Fat Women! with Megan Ixim
We got a spicy one today! Longtime friend of the show, Megan Ixim, is finally back to share her Bone to Pick with the men who leave nasty comments on her IG all day every day, and can't seem to admit to themselves how utterly obsessed they are with fat women. Not only is this a hilarious conversation, but also a window into human psychology and internet algorithms. Enjoy!

Confessions of a Chocoholic
This episode is all about CHOCOLATE! I discuss my long-term relationship to sweets and how I incorporate sweets into my day while still maintaining a well-balanced diet of nutritious and satisfying meals - I even drop a couple simple recipes for my fellow sweets people! Then, I have a conversation with Alysha Kropf of Ecole Chocolat Professional School of Chocolate Arts, where they will teach you how to be a real-life Willy Wonka if you so desire! We nerd out about chocolate, bust some chocolate myths, and explore what makes chocolate so magical to both kids and adults. Prepare for some imminent chocolate cravings after listening to this one!

I Have a Bone To Pick With The Aritzia Fitting Room! with My BFF Erica
For this special Thursday episode, I invited my friend Erica on the pod for "I Have a Bone to Pick". We both have had a bone to pick with the women's fitting room experience for quite some time, but the most egregious one of all is, hands down, the fitting rooms in the women's clothing store Aritzia. This is perhaps the most niche Bone to Pick yet, but the girls who get it are gonna GET IT. Listen to us air our grievances with Aritzia, as well as other annoyances such as boyfriends being allowed in women's retail stores, the fact that all our clothes are made of plastic, and our traumatic high school memories of shopping at Forever 21 with our teeny tiny friends. This is a fun, unserious Bone to Pick for our fellow women who are SICK of the in-person shopping experience, particularly at "cool girl" stores that make you feel like overpriced garbage.

Faux-Zempic and The Impact of The GLP-1 Craze
On this episode, I'm talking about GLP-1s and the icky way they are being promoted and sold to us under the banner of Wellness. I also talk about THAT Hims and Hers commercial that aired during the Superbowl and the ass-backwards messaging that we can't seem to escape. For today's conversation, I invited Dr. Erin Parks, clinical psychologist and co-founder of Equip, to discuss the impact of GLP-1 marketing on both people in larger bodies and people suffering from Eating Disorders. Once again, we never want to demonize anyone for taking any medication, but rather shed light on those who might be negatively impacted by the culture surrounding it.

I Have a Bone To Pick With Botox and Filler Pressure! with Tracey Carnazzo
On this Thursday episode, I invited my friend and hilarious comedian Tracey Carnazzo on the podcast for "I Have a Bone to Pick." Tracey has a bone to pick with the societal pressure to "fix your face" with botox, fillers, and other cosmetic procedures. When did it stop being okay to have your own unique face? If you want more, Tracey will also join me for this week's bonus episode on the RIP Diets Patreon, where we'll play Eat It or Beat It and talk even more shit.

What If Intuitive Eating Doesn't Work For Me?
On today's episode, I seek to answer the question "What if I tried Intuitive Eating and it didn't work for me?" With the help of Binge Eating Recovery and Body Image Coach, Stefanie Michele, I attempt to better understand why Intuitive Eating doesn't "click" with certain people, and the most common things that get in the way when trying to heal your relationship with food. This conversation was pretty eye opening for me and made me recognize some patterns within myself that I had not thought too deeply about before. This is the perfect episode for anyone who's interested in Intuitive Eating, but doesn't feel like they are quite "there" yet!

It's the first Thursday episode of RIP Diets and it's a Good Bodies reunion! For this mini-episode, I invited my friend and former co-host, Lauren Hope Krass, on the pod to play "I Have a Bone to Pick." Lauren has a major bone to pick with the inflated prices of plus size clothing, and she is ready to air her grievances. If you're hungry for more, Lauren will also be featured in this week's bonus episode on the RIP Diets Patreon, where we'll spill some tea and talk even more shit.
