I invited on professional baker, marshmallow maven, and fellow podcaster, Katherine Sprung, to talk all about how certain foods become trendy, if it's worth it to participate in the trends, and how the food trend cycle affects the seller as well as the consumer. This was a really interesting look at the hype machine that made the whole world obsessed with Cronuts, Crookies, Dubai Chocolate, and the monstrosity that is Crumbl. We also get nostalgic and revisit food trends that we participated in, and others that left us very confused. We also answer the age old question - is anything truly worth waiting in line to try?
