Listen in for this honest and vulnerable edge conversation between two women who recently experienced their mothers’ deaths.
Janet Redmond, Village Heart Surgeon and Building Communication Bridges Originator, returns to Radically Alive Women Edgecast to share about her journey accompanying not only her mother’s dying process, but also her death: directing her funeral service, and bringing her ashes from New Zealand to England.
Julia Neumann holds space for this conversation from her own lived experience of her mother dying recently.
What unfolds is a conversation about taking responsibility for the dying process as well as reflections on healing the mother-daughter relationship.

Dagmar Thürnagel is a Feelings Practitioner and transformational Trainer. Two years after a paragliding accident that led to the loss of her right leg, she returns to the Radically Alive Women Edgecast for another conversation. (Listen to our first interview here.)
What unfolds is a raw, honest, and deeply moving reflection on her ongoing healing journey — one that is far from linear.
In this episode, Dagmar shares how her experience has shaped not just her body, but her entire way of living. She speaks about navigating pain, falling (both literally and metaphorically), surrendering control, and choosing life. Again and again.
This is a story about loss, yes — but more than that, it’s about resilience, radical honesty, and the unexpected intelligence of life itself.

In this extremely RAW and controversial interview, Dr Hanna Milling delves into themes of personal responsibility, self-love, and collective healing between women and men, women and women, and - where it all begins - the war within ourselves.
The conversation emerges from her viral video ‘From Women to Men’ in which Hanna, alongside many other women, offers her deepest apology to men saying:
“...all of the accumulated pain and hate from centuries of abusive women, at the hands of unconscious men, means that we often blame and punish you for your ancestors sins, even when you show up as love.”
This controversial message raised many polarised responses that ranged from heartfelt gratitude and relief to outrage and accusation.
In this episode, our newest interviewer Stacia & Hanna traverse these delicate topics with honesty and nuance, exploring Hanna’s motivation for this message, what it awakened in her personally, and what this message is, and is not, about.
The essence…to empower Women to empower themselves - not through blame or battle but through deeper layers of self-responsibility and love.
This forms the bridge to Hanna’s current project and next video - 'From Women to Women' where she reveals, to her surprise, it was even more challenging than the first.
She reflects on how centuries of societal conditioning has bred so much competition, comparison, silencing and separation eroding the foundation of true sisterhood. Not a sisterhood that is against men but one that is for life.
Hanna speaks with conviction and heart, grounded in her own personal experience. She shares that before she can become a public face of these messages she must go first and doing so was the biggest gift of all.

Listen into this three way discussion with two women who are sourcing a “Being School” - Sitio Brigida, in Brazil. It is called a school because it is a place to practice. Instead of practicing doing what you are told, here the practice is to come closer and closer to experiencing yourself
self beyond rules, expectations and conformity. Then walking in questions, such as - what do I really want? How do I hold space? Who am I really right now? How do I want to be?
This is a wide ranging conversation, touching on topics such as building circle,
What does it mean to be wealthy?
Stepping out of a pressure based relationship with life
Shifting away from needing “get somewhere” with healing and transformation, into a spaciousness of inner connection to the source of creation.
The magic of listening to the land, wind and animals.
This is an interview that celebrates radical sisterhood, and what is possible when women step out of mainstream culture and choose to source a different context.

Amira's passion for what she stands for comes through in the interview by her expression to lead life from pleasure using the yoni as a compass to create and manifest in life. Through shifting the inner compass natural impulses can start to flow again. She advocates for women to connect to their (in German) 'Lust' , which is not just pleasure but also being connected what your soul wants to birth into life.
In our conversation she acknowledges the difficulties of women in the past needing to protect offspring out of love because of circumstances that did not allow for sexual expression and independance. She highlights how women today have more possibillities to heal this collective sexual trauma in the maternal line by using pleasure as our personal navigation system to access our wants and ultimately manifest money resources to flow towards our projects.
One of the explorations in her work connect to letting in and letting out - receiving and birthing. Most women end birth with the feeling of 'I am not capable of birth'. How would women walk through life receiving the financial resources to create anything they want and how would the world look like if women tapped back into the orgsmic power of birthing and healing?
She highlights that shifting into a yoni-led mind - and bodyset will turn your life upside down as it did for her. She started a business from the place of pleasure, made unreasonable decisions some might call 'crazy', which led her directly to financial return and success with her femine led business Lustgeburt.de . Within a month Amira was able to step off the benefit, and within a year made a 100k turn around.
Amira works primarily as a doula with pregnant women and couples, having had her own oragsmic birth with her first child, but now expands to also coaching women and businesses who want to use the doorway of pleasure to leading a more fullfilled life. Whilst by now all her offers, including her book 'Lustgeburt, are only available in German she is starting to explore how to make her content available in English too.

Jay Bennett, Leonhard Geupel and Martin Šalanda joined this conversation with Julia Neumann to share of their experience in creating the "Gaian Men's Bridgehouse" at the center of New Zealand's North Island in December 2024/January 2025.
It is an unusual topic for "Radically Alive Women" to broadcast about Men's culture.
We chose to do it anyway because we care about the radical aliveness of men just as much. As you will notice, it is truly heart-opening to witness how these men embody love through their shared experience, and we want this to be available to many more.
We were particularly touched by men learning to relate with each other, to feel together, and to lean on each other, and the side effect of that for their relating with women: An adult relating becomes possible where the man doesn't need anything from women. He gets to share his feelings and emotions also with men, which frees him from "needing" emotional support from the women in his life. It becomes optional. Goodbye, codependent relationship!
May many men be inspired by this conversation and by what becomes possible when men dare to dive deep together and become intimate and vulnerable with each other.

Bishop Reid is a somatic based business coach and trauma informed breathwork & mindfulness certified facilitator, working worldwide.
In this episode, she shares about reclaiming aliveness, transforming self-doubt, and redefining selfishness.
Bishop speaks of her personal journey with reclaiming her inner fire, constantly going to the edge with her online business, and navigating the cycles of self-doubt and confusion.
Bishop discusses the significance of somatic leadership, and the critical role of the nervous system and conscious fear in transforming self-doubt. She shares of her observation that self-doubt often transpires when we are coming to our own edge, the edge of our comfort zone.
"Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast."
Instead of freezing, over-analysing, overwhelm, or moving frantically, Bishop offers the possibility of slowing down while still moving. She emphasises the importance of presencing our bodies instead of going into "figuring it out", which can happen with rage work, breathwork, somatic techniques, and also by circulating fear in the nervous system.
She explores the shadow side of women's experiences, including societal expectations and the importance of a new definition of selfishness in cultivating personal and professional growth.
Bishop also generously offers a variety of practices, including possibilities for staying grounded, including rage work, breathwork, and the transformative power of creative mess-making. She advocates for collaboration and encourages women to support each other in their journeys of self-discovery and empowerment.

This description was written with the assistance of an ai based programme.
Margaret McCallum is a Soul Midwife and Death Doula.
In this episode she shares the freedom and aliveness of Death becoming part of everyday life. She suggest that by opening to the challenges and nudges from life in the current moment and choosing to die the little deaths life becomes fuller & richer and the big death in the end can become an easeful space of surrender. In that place the inner knowing by the soul - when the time has come - can simply let go and life can complete itself. She invites anyone walking alongside the dying to acknowledge each individual's process by not making it any different for the individual yet to hold a space for the possibility of a different perpective and approach.
In the end of the discours the space opens to the beauty and peace of silence; of finding silence from within through pauses in everyday life.

This is an excerpt from a work-talk (some talking, some workshop elements) delivered by Julia Neumann in 2021. It explores the sovereign birth right of omen to tsan din their sovereignty, and the strategies women may employ to stay Princesses and avoid being in their power.
The emphasis of this first part is on conscious joy as a resource to make a radical shift from waiting for "the prince on a white horse" to being a wild white horse oneself.
We dug this treasure out of our archives for you and hope you enjoy!

In this episode, Annika Korsten speaks with Anna Groves, a CNVC Nonviolent Communication Trainer and Somatic Practitioner based in Aotearoa New Zealand. Anna’s presence is captivating in its simplicity and humility, creating a space where the nervous system can relax and shift toward a more compassionate orientation toward oneself and life.
While acknowledging the pain that exists in every human experience, including her own, Anna illuminates a path where life can be full of love and adventure—living from what truly matters, not out of obligation, but from a genuine desire to do so. She creates a space of liberation, allowing for being with what is present in the body, while simultaneously observing the tendencies to critique, analyse, amplify, or minimise those sensations.
Anna emphasises the importance of connection - both to others and to a community - in interrupting addictive patterns and behaviors. For her, sobriety has been a key practice in developing her ability to remain fully present.
What if healing wasn’t just an abstract concept, but a lived experience? What if all the colors and emotions of being human were fully embraced, each finding a place of compassion within us?
