If you are a parent of young children, I highly recommend you check their tongue placement, oral posture and even bring them to a myofunctional therapist to make sure they are swallowing and nose breathing properly. Because of western medicine's neglect on my jaw and tongue at a young age, I am now dealing with the aftermath and symptoms of TMD. If it wasn't for my research, one of the root causes of the problem would still not be addressed.
In this episode, I talk about the not so obvious link between TMJ (temperomandibular joint) disfunction and the mechanisms of nose breathing, tongue placement and the physiological growth and development of the face.
I personally deal with TMD myself and I know it can be debilitating and shift your face. I have already had to have a few surgical procedures to address the problems it has caused. This is why I highly encourage you to always do you research and take control of your health. Do not rely on doctors to look at all angles- you really need to be your own detective and advocate when it comes to looking at things holistically.

The American Heart Association and the US Dietary Guidelines often vilify saturated fats and instead recommend these "heart healthy" oils : soybean, corn, safflower, sunflower etc.

In this episode, I dive into why the Impossible Burger is not healthy, although it is advertised to be healthier than beef.
CEO of Impossible Foods, Patrick Brown has said that with his Impossible Burger, his main customer isn't vegans/vegetarians, but those that would otherwise be eating meat. He actually wants to eradicate the beef industry by 2035. This is alarming, as grass-fed beef is one of the most nutrient dense foods. Not to mention, ruminant animals are needed to help regenerate our soil.
