In this podcast, frustration excepting what these people had to say needed to be the focus on. After speaking to guys who have created businesses and watched others like me start from scratch, allot of skilled worked believe the same. In reality, business and been a true business owner requires a completely different frame work to create income.

Marketing your product or service wasn’t something taught during my nursing studies. Our skill sets are diverse, from been a DAD to Running Emergency Departments with teams 280 people on the roster. The hard stuff in business. We have a product which we believe will do well in the market. We are passionate about the product or service you have to offer... My insight this week comes after taking the time to work out exactly who my ideal client is. I relate this to experience working in critical care and understand the family member I am speaking to me about the patients condition. First seeking to understand them, in order to use language and words which will be effective for them. In business, it’s more than a great product or service, I must know how to tell my ideal client about it and how it will solve their challenge.

Be General and compete, Go Niche and Survive. When you Niche, you stand out from the crowd, you market yourself differently, your clearer on the type of client you want to serve. It also mentally more challenging - FOMO. Specialising as a Critical care Nurse required allot more study, more time learning, but now the opportunities are plenty for work. Developing your Niche market for your business is time well spent. This insight allowed an opportunity to step away from FOMO instead focusing on the types of people to serve and who to market to.

Habits which serve you will get you closer to your dreams. They keep you going when your not aware of the actions your taking.... Let me explained further. Habits are things we do when a trigger is activated. The actions that follow the habit can be positive or negative, wanted or not. Several weeks ago while out with my wife of was reminded of trigger, which was conditioned in my nervous system, was activated while we were out shopping. This location was not the ideal place to be for the behaviour, in this case an emotional response, to be triggered. Habits can be helpful for you, or they can be something which you are not aware of and can be sabotaging your dreams. If you want to create your dreams, create your financial freedom portfolio then you must become aware of your habits. The good and the bad if you want to succeed. In this podcast, I discuss how the three-step process used to break a habit as per the book “The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg can be used in your life as it has done for me many time. When your gut is telling you something is wrong, strength comes when your able to discern if this is important or is it something else (like gastro from that food left in the fridge for over a month).
