Thank you to everyone who has supported this podcast! I'm taking a little break this summer to refocus my energy and hopefully come back with a killer season 2 of My Body, My Jokes.
I want your feedback! To make Season 2 even better, I'd love to hear from you. I promise this Google survey is all multiple choice and is super quick. Tell me what I can do better :)
Keep a lookout on Morgan's social media for when the pod will be back (most likely Fall 2025!)
This week, Denver alternative fashion icon and cool ass human being Sage Storm joins the pod! I found this lovely gal on Instagram and jumped at the chance to have her chat about her experiences as a plus-size model, walking in Denver Fashion Week, and stepping into her true self. She also designs the most unique nails for herself that you HAVE to see!

My Body, My Jokes goes international this week with a remote interview with certified nutritionist and master health coach, Jonny Landels! Speaking with me from across the pond, Jonny and I touch on male body image, as well as answer questions submitted from my male followers.
Jonny also tells us about his journey from gym-bro to self-love guru (he probably hates that I'm calling him that) and gives us a much-needed perspective into how diet culture and weight stigma can affect the male population.

Bigger bodies yoga teacher, musician and fat activist Andrea Pares joins the pod this week to chat about everything from living in a larger body in the fitness community to posing nude for her friend and his mom. As a leader in the yoga space here in Denver, Andrea tells her story of how she went from feeling uncomfortable in typical yoga classes to becoming one of the city's pacesetters in body-neutral movement.
I had the opportunity to take one of Andrea's bigger bodies only yoga classes the day after the pod and it was WONDERFUL!

Founder of Denver’s own gym and wellness collective for women and genderqueer people, Meghan Nelson, has arrived at My Body, My Jokes! Meghan, a gal I’ve been dying to interview for months, explains the conception of her wellness facility VIBE, and how creating a safe space has impacted our local community. We also address the controversial topic of women-only gyms that exclude trans women (wtf?) and discover the ACTUAL average size of a penis.

Dancer, producer, sex educator and all around burlesque goddess Alabaster is here this week to talk modesty, sex education and finding her confidence through burlesque. She schooled me on the history of burlesque, and we compared notes on awkward audience interactions. We also played a game of Cap or Bussin', finally laying to rest the argument for diet soda.

TW: Detailed discussion about diet advice and potential ED behaviors.
It's the modern manifestation of toxic diet culture disguised as a bunch of 20-somethings loving themselves by hating themselves: give it up for SkinnyTok!
This week, I'm pulling the curtain back on this popular social media phenomenon that has young women in a chokehold. Whether you love it or hate it, SkinnyTok is here to f*ck some sh*t up.

As a popular TikTok creator, Remi Bader has captured the world with her fashion hauls and 'I'm so quirky' attitude. Lately, she's come under fire for her dishonesty in undergoing weight loss surgery (that is, until she appeared on Khloe Kardashian's podcast, who we all know is the queen of honesty).
Comedian, thrift expert, and three-legged dog mom Carey Lieberman joins me on this week's episode to dissect Remi's rise and fall to public shame. TW: Detailed discussions of weight loss, body dysmorphia and plastic surgery.

“She doesn’t do comedy anymore,” says the ‘Top Fan’ on my Facebook page, who thinks he’s defending me against someone asking about when I’m coming to their city. It’s odd that as soon as I started this podcast and began focusing more on recovery, hundreds of my fans assumed it meant I wasn’t a comedian anymore. Sure, I’ve taken a step back from touring and working myself into the ground, but I still tell jokes. So, in honor of clearing the air, today I’m telling you the full story. How did this all begin, what sparked the start of this show, and what I’m up to now. I promise it’s interesting.

This week I'm giving you a little summary of where body positivity came from. Ironically enough, I absolutely hated the way I looked in this episode and almost didn't air it. But in the spirit of body positivity, and the fact that we're living on a dying rock soaring through space with a facist regime hanging over our heads, I figured whelp - I might as well.

For 2025's #EatingDisorderAwarenessWeek, I partnered with the Eating Disorder Foundation here in Denver to put on The Roast of Diet Culture - truly one of the highlights of my career. The Eating Disorder Foundation provides free resources to those affected by eating disorders, including support programs, mentorship, workshops, and more.
The show was so much fun that I wanted to share it with you all here on the podcast. It features several of Denver's funniest comics, who absolutely rip diet culture a new one. Thank you to everyone who made this possible—the team at EDF, the Mercury Cafe, DUDE, IDK Studios, and, of course, the amazing comics that you can find below. Enjoy the show!

One day your friend gets into nutrition, then she's all about avoiding seed oils...soon she becomes anti-vax, and then you learn she voted for...Trump?
The wellness to alt-right pipeline is alive and well, my friends. But what causes this phenomenon? How does one go from alternative medicine to QAnon? Well lucky for us, Molly Smith, host of the 'Did That Age Well' pod is here to dive into the depths of this rusty old pipe with me.

If you watched the 2025 Superbowl, you probably saw the 'Hims' ad that sparked controversy all over the internet. The ad calls out the 'broken system' that is healthcare in America, as well as the toxic diet culture that permeates our society - but then turns it back around at the end to sell you their weight loss products.
Not only did the ad cause some whiplash amongst internet users, but a few senators even got involved in giving their two cents about the peddling of unregulated weight loss drugs...let's get into it.

I'm a perfectionist (shocker) and I even rewrote this description four times trying to make it succinct and witty enough to be perfect. But you know what? It's not that serious.
In this episode, I go into depth about what perfectionism is, how it manifests in eating disorders, and what to do about it. Shout out to my therapist for giving me the idea to do this episode - you're a real one.
