Today I'm talking to Shannon about her experience with Cushing's Disease. We talk about her symptoms, how she finally got a diagnosis, and what's next for her. Cushing's Disease and prolactinomas, the tumor I experienced, have very similar symptoms and I found myself relating to so much of her story. My hope is that anyone experiencing this finds comfort in knowing that you are not alone.

This week's episode is really special because I'm talking to my mom, Monica, about her experience as a stay-at-home mother. We talk about maintaining your own identity as a mom, finding time for yourself, and why she chose to stay home with us instead of working. It's a really enlightening conversation, and I hope you all take a lot from it.

This is an interesting one that you won't want to miss. This week, I'm joined by Dr. Adjoa Smalls-Mantey, MD, Dphil - a psychiatrist, viral immunologist, and author - to talk all about vaccines. I asked her the hard questions that we all want to know: are they safe for our kids? Are they linked to autism? Should we vaccinate our babies against COVID-19? Dr. Smalls-Mantey is extremely knowledgeable about vaccinations and is busting all of the myths that you may have seen floating around the internet.

I am so excited for you all to hear this week's episode with Alysha! We are talking all about her struggle with uterine fibroids, as well as her experience with a (we hate this term) "geriatric pregnancy." Alysha is so strong, honest, and great at advocating for herself and her child. I also loved hearing about her positive c-section experience, and I think that if anyone is worried about having a c-section or getting pregnant later in life, this will be a great episode to provide some peace of mind.

Lisa is an Infant & Toddler Sleep Educator, and she has a lot of knowledge and tips to share about infant sleep schedules, why sleep training is not the way to go, and how to get adequate rest as a new parent. I found this episode very insightful, so I hope that this helps any parents out there who are having trouble getting their baby to sleep and coping with developmental leaps and restless nights.
This week, Hannah is telling her labor and delivery story! Her story is extremely interesting because she gave birth at a birth center with no medication or medical interventions.
