#012 — Steve Green: The FCA and its business transformation through data and digital innovation

The Financial Conduct Authority is a financial regulatory body in the United Kingdom, but operates independently of the UK Government, and is financed by charging fees to members of the financial services industry.

Steve Green is the Head of Central Data Services at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). His department looks after all data management and collection activities for the FCA, as well as running a number of central data advisory, analysis and insight functions.

Steve is also the Accountable Executive in charge of the FCA’s Data Strategy implementation, transforming the way the FCA exploits its data and covering the replacement of all key data platforms.

Prior to joining the FCA, Steve worked on implementing large scale technology driven change across a variety of businesses.

They just also signed a $1 million deal with law enforcement in America for new products to help everyone be safer.

Jean-Aimé Bigirimana, also known as DJ JaBig, is a House Music DJ from Montréal, Canada who is mostly known internationally for his DEEP & DOPE DJ mixes on YouTube & other music platforms which have been streamed for over 7 billion hours.

Jean-Aimé was born in Rwanda but emigrated to Kenya and South Africa at a young age before permanently settling in Canada.

He is the only person in history to cycle across Canada coast-to-coast-to-coast in Winter on a fixed-gear bicycle, to break the Guinness World Records of “The Longest Journey by Bicycle in a Single Country”.
