#012 — Steve Green: The FCA and its business transformation through data and digital innovation

The Financial Conduct Authority is a financial regulatory body in the United Kingdom, but operates independently of the UK Government, and is financed by charging fees to members of the financial services industry.

Steve Green is the Head of Central Data Services at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). His department looks after all data management and collection activities for the FCA, as well as running a number of central data advisory, analysis and insight functions.

Steve is also the Accountable Executive in charge of the FCA’s Data Strategy implementation, transforming the way the FCA exploits its data and covering the replacement of all key data platforms.

Prior to joining the FCA, Steve worked on implementing large scale technology driven change across a variety of businesses.
