This week on Milk Drunk Mama I am joined by the one and only Caoímhe McGinley, @thebighillhouse
Many of you will know Caoímhe from her beautiful home renovation journey, her relatable family content and her absolutely gorgeous style - but in this episode, we spoke about a more personal topic - her breastfeeding journeys.
Caoímhe shares what it was like to navigate breastfeeding while in Abu Dhabi, how her shorter maternity leave shaped her feeding experience, and the transition feeding at the breast to having to pump when she went back to work. She also shared her thoughts on breastfeeding rates in Ireland and what can be done to help.
It was an honest, warm and insightful conversation that I am happy to share - I hope you love listening as much as I enjoyed recording it!

In this episode I spoke with Aoife from @get.better.sleep about her own breast feeding journey and how the reality was different from her expectations. We also discussed whether sleeping and breastfeeding can actually peacefully coexist!
Thank you for listening and I hope you really enjoy the episode and I will be back with some more soon!
