This episode covers the idea of taking a perspective as an observer of your own funeral ceremony. This idea is taken straight from the book, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey. Your life will leave an impression upon others. What will that impression be? Time is precious. What will you do with yours?
A brief breakdown of my coronavirus experience. Everyone has a different response to the virus after infection; so if you have been infected, your experience may vary greatly. However, there are sometimes similar symptom experiences…this was mine.
It has been said that if an event took all possessions from all people, the same people would eventually come back just as wealthy or broke as they were before. Well…I agree…to an extent.

Do you ever take a look around on your drive to work and see the faces of fellow commuters? It’s sad isn’t it? Everyone looks as if they feel…meaningless. Take a chance. Break the mold. Don’t be one of those faces any more…
Do you follow the financial advice of Dave Ramsey? Do you know someone who does? Is it such a strong belief system that it is as if it is their religion? Well listen to this and see what I have to say about why the Dave Ramsey method is actually an unhealthy financial outlook…
Ok, so maybe the title to this episode is a bit dramatic. However, if you are thinking about quitting your job, I’ve got a couple of subjects to cover on the topic that may help: FEAR….and FREEDOM!!!!!
You’ve been thinking about it, meditating about it, and praying about it for weeks, months, or even years….and they drop a “bomb” on you right before the big move; A PAY RAISE. And I mean a big one! So what do you do??? What will you choose? The safe known? Or the freeing unknown?
Strange title for an episode of a podcast right? Well, If you know what I’m talking about then you know what I’m talking about. If you don’t…give it a listen. Social media has forever changed the way we communicate as humans. But…the greatest social media offense has been discovered and experienced by yours truly.
I know, it’s a morbid topic right? However, we all know that we won’t live on planet Earth forever. So what are we doing between this very moment and that moment of our final breath? Maybe you should visit a cemetery and ponder these things...
So you are thinking of buying a house that was flipped. Should you or shouldn’t you? Well listen to this episode to hear what I have learned FROM EXPERIENCE. It’s not always puppy dogs and rainbows...
Based on the AWESOME book “The Wisdom of Anxiety” by Sheryl Paul, I cover the strong connection between “what if?!” thoughts and anxiety. I’ve dealt with this on a deep level myself and it’s my hope and prayer that you can detect anxiety indicators and deal with them on a serious level. I am not a professional in any way, so please seek professional help if needed. However, I have experienced mental health issues and have, thank God, survived them....so I’m no novice on the topic of anxiety!!!! Take a listen and hopefully you benefit from Sheryl Paul’s expertise on dealing with anxiety.
Yes, another podcast episode about why settling for the “safe” 9 to 5 is THE WORST. If you are a fan of the show ‘The Walking Dead’, then the analogy will make sense. If not....let me explain.
So you’ve decided you’re making the move. You’ve had enough and you’re going to quit your current full time job. But then you have a good day at said job and you get ANXIETY. Wait, am I crazy???Should I be doing this???
If you’re a little anxious about turning 40....you are NOT ALONE!! It’s an age that weighs on our mind heavily for many reasons. But don’t be discouraged!!! It’s a blessing to make it to 40! And it’s even a bigger blessing to take what we have learned up until now and use it to help others...and even ourselves. In doing so, we will LEVEL UP!!!!
Don’t ignore something that is causing pain in your life!! If it’s your job that’s doing so.....DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! You wouldn’t sit and watch your finger bleed and not do anything to remedy the problem(I would hope)...so don’t do that with an unhappy position in your work!!! Take action....stop ignoring the pain.
I know!! A very intense scenario right?!! But think about it!!! If you are so unhappy with what you are doing “for a living”, WHY are you still doing it? Reach out to me at jackcoolidge@hotmail.com with questions, concerns, and/or comments. Just no hate mail, please! Peace! God Bless.
