Mark In The Park Podcast
Episode 012- Guest Jeff Boag AKA The Kilted Dad - Mark In The Park Podcast

Welcome to Mark In The Park — a podcast about life, not just Parkinson’s. Hosted by Mark Milow, aka MarkInThePark21, this is a space where honesty meets optimism, and everyday moments matter just as much as the big ones.

This week’s guest is Jeff Boag, known as “The Kilted Dad” on social media.  Jeff’s Bio reads:

Jeff Boag AKA The Kilted Dad. I live in Idaho with my wife of 31 years, where we've raised five amazing kids and built a life full of adventure, laughter, and a little chaos. I work as an executive recruiter — helping companies find the right people, and people find meaningful leadership roles.

When I'm not working, you’ll usually find me throwing heavy objects at a Highland Games competition, white-water rafting, or on a spontaneous road trip with my wife (snacks required). In 2023, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, and while it's a new chapter, it hasn't stopped me from staying active, staying positive, and living life on my terms. Life is Too Short to be Boring!

Episode 011- Guest Tracy McBee on Telling your Story - Mark In The Park Podcast

Welcome to Mark In The Park — a podcast about life, not just Parkinson’s. Hosted by Mark Milow, aka MarkInThePark21, this is a space where honesty meets optimism, and everyday moments matter just as much as the big ones.

This week’s guest is Tracy McBee, known as “Snarky Mommy” on social media.  Tracy’s Bio reads:

“Diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2018, Tracy has become a true champion for the PD community. It was actually her nephew, a former Golden Gloves Champion and then Rock Steady Boxing coach, who first noticed her symptoms and encouraged her to see a neurologist. From that first visit, she walked away with a copy of the inspiring book 'Every Victory Counts,' Tracy found her passion.

Fast forward to June 2025, and Tracy became an ambassador with the Davis Phinney Foundation, now enthusiastically sharing the 'Every Victory Counts' message with others. She's not just talking-the-talk – she's deeply involved in research trials, support groups, and events like Pedaling for Parkinson’s. Tracy truly believes in living life to the fullest with PD, even picking up snowboarding when skiing got a bit tricky. She's the heart behind what she calls the S.N.A.R.K.Y. Parky Support Community – that's Safe/Support, Networking, Advocacy, Resources, Knowledge, and Your Voice.

Tracy's personal mantra really says it all: 'You may be a person with Parkinson’s but you’re so much more.”

Mark In The Park Podcast
Episode 010- Guest Life Coach Faye Hall - Mark In The Park Podcast

Welcome to Mark In The Park — a podcast about life, not just Parkinson’s. Hosted by Mark Milow, aka MarkInThePark21, this is a space where honesty meets optimism, and everyday moments matter just as much as the big ones.

This week’s guest is Faye Hall, my Life Coach and friend.  Faye’s Bio reads:

“I am a certified Coach, Facilitator, Agilist, and leader who believes that lasting change begins with people. My focus is on developing individuals and teams to thrive in today’s challenges while preparing for the future. With a core value of service, I collaborate with clients to uncover strengths, set meaningful goals, and take action that creates sustainable results.

My coaching journey began in 2001 after moving from the U.K. into the technology world, where I quickly discovered that real transformation isn’t about tools or processes, it’s about people first. Since then, I’ve worked across industries to help leaders and teams embrace agility, grow in confidence, and deliver value together.

I lead with empathy, vulnerability, and humor, opening new possibilities through meaningful questions. One of my favorites is: “What does the future need from you today?” It inspires leaders and myself to think differently and take ownership of change.

As a thought leader in leadership coaching, I emphasize leadership over management and the power of people and teams to create impact. My mission is to co-create change , helping people and organizations foster resilience, collaboration, and fulfillment in work and life.”

Mark In The Park Podcast
Episode 009- Guest Annmarie O'Conner - Mark In The Park Podcast

Welcome to Mark In The Park — a podcast about life, not just Parkinson’s. Hosted by Mark Milow, aka MarkInThePark21, this is a space where honesty meets optimism, and everyday moments matter just as much as the big ones.

This week’s guest is Annmarie O’Connor, the Irish Examiner fashion editor, bestselling author, speaker, and advocate.

Known for her books The Happy Closet and The Happy Medium, Annmarie spent almost two decades at the forefront of fashion media, championing a mindful, expressive approach to personal style. Her self-styled “wardrobe wellness” philosophy helped people simplify their closets and reconnect with their confidence.

In December 2021, Annmarie was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s disease—a progressive neurological condition that affects movement, mood, and motivation, among other critical functions. Since then, she has become a powerful voice in the chronic illness space, using storytelling, humour and style to raise awareness and foster hope. Her five-part podcast series Living Your Best Life explores the emotional and practical realities of life with Parkinson’s through candid conversations and lived experience.

In 2023, Annmarie was honoured with the Catalyst Award at Irish Tatler’s Women of the Year and named one of the Irish Examiner’s 100 Women Changing Ireland. Her upcoming memoir Twitch is out now!  Order it through this link:
