This is Part 2 from the purpose of this meditation is to increase your awareness of the body's sensations and this is from Section 2: Turning into the sensations of the Body from "The Shadow Work workbook: A Life-Changing guide to integrate your shadow self, release emotional blocks and heal your inner child" By Porter, Rachel.

Healing myself with "The Shadow Work Workbook: A Life-changing guide to integrate your shadow self, release emotional blocks and heal your inner child" by Porter, Rachel.
One of the most important topics is knowing your resistance to shadow work. Your shadow self exists because you resist examining deep into certain aspects of yourself. One of the ways is to use relaxation to increase your bodily awareness, which is often ignored by distracting thoughts. We will only be aware when we feel the physical body but by then, medication is needed. Thus using a Body scan is useful to first get into a relaxing state and it's so easy.
I recorded this for myself though but sharing it with you so you too can enjoy it. Let me know if this helps you too!

“No matter who you are, no matter where you come from, you are beautiful”
This quote from Pocket Michelle Wisdom is a powerful reminder that beauty is not limited to a particular set of physical traits or societal standards. Rather, every person, regardless of their background, culture, or appearance, possesses a unique and inherent beauty.
In a world that often emphasizes external appearance and standards of beauty, it can be easy to feel insecure or inadequate. However, this quote encourages us to embrace our individual beauty and to recognize the beauty in others.
Moreover, this quote also emphasizes the importance of diversity and inclusivity. It reminds us that every person, regardless of their background, has value and contributes to the rich tapestry of human experience. It encourages us to celebrate our differences and to recognize the beauty that comes from our unique perspectives, cultures, and life experiences.
Ultimately, this quote serves as a reminder that we are all worthy of love and respect, regardless of our physical appearance or societal status. It encourages us to see the beauty in ourselves and others and to embrace diversity as a strength.
“Real change comes from having enough comfort to be really honest and say something very uncomfortable”
This quote from Pocket Michelle Wisdom highlights the importance of honesty and discomfort in bringing about real change. Many of us shy away from saying things that make us uncomfortable or that may be unpopular, but in order to effect meaningful change, we need to be willing to confront uncomfortable truths and have difficult conversations.
Real change often requires us to challenge the status quo and to question deeply ingrained beliefs and systems. This can be uncomfortable, and may even provoke resistance or hostility from those who are invested in maintaining the status quo. However, by having the courage to speak truthfully and openly about the issues that matter to us, we can begin to break down barriers and create opportunities for real change.
At the same time, this quote also highlights the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment in which to have these conversations. It's not enough to simply speak our minds without considering the impact that our words may have on others. We need to be mindful of how we communicate and to ensure that our words are grounded in compassion, empathy, and a commitment to positive change.
Ultimately, this quote reminds us that real change requires us to be honest and to speak uncomfortable truths, even when it may be difficult or unpopular. By doing so, we can begin to break down barriers, challenge the status quo, and create a more just and equitable world.
“You’re not supposed to do this perfectly. You don’t do life perfectly. No one does”
This quote from Pocket Michelle Wisdom reminds us that it's okay not to be perfect. In fact, no one is perfect, and we shouldn't expect ourselves to be either.
Many of us put a lot of pressure on ourselves to be flawless, whether it's in our work, relationships, or personal goals. We think that if we can just do everything perfectly, we'll be happy and successful.
But the reality is that perfection is an impossible standard to meet. No matter how hard we try, we will always make mistakes and encounter setbacks. It's a natural part of life, and it's how we learn and grow.
By recognizing that we're not supposed to do things perfectly, we can take the pressure off ourselves and focus on doing the best that we can. We can learn to accept our flaws and mistakes, and use them as opportunities to improve and grow.
This quote also reminds us to be kind to ourselves and to practice self-compassion. Instead of being overly critical and self-judgmental, we can learn to be gentle and understanding with ourselves, just as we would with a friend who was going through a difficult time.
Overall, this quote encourages us to let go of our need for perfection and to embrace our imperfections as a natural part of life. By doing so, we can learn to be kinder to ourselves and to appreciate the journey, even with its ups and downs.
“Be the best that you can be”
The quote "Be the best that you can be" from the Pocket Michelle Wisdom book is a simple yet powerful reminder to always strive for excellence in all aspects of our lives.
To be the best that we can be means constantly pushing ourselves to improve, whether it's in our personal or professional lives. It means setting high standards for ourselves and continuously working to meet or exceed them.
Being the best that we can be also means being true to ourselves and our unique abilities and talents. It's not about comparing ourselves to others or trying to be something we're not. Instead, it's about recognizing our own strengths and weaknesses and working to maximize our potential.
This quote also emphasizes the importance of self-improvement and personal growth. We should never stop learning, growing, and developing our skills and knowledge. By continually striving to be the best that we can be, we can achieve great things and make a positive impact in the world around us.
Overall, this quote encourages us to be ambitious, driven, and committed to self-improvement. It reminds us that our greatest potential lies within ourselves, and that we should always be striving to reach it.
“There will be all kinds of folks who are eager to help you, but they are not going to come knocking on your door to find you”
This quote from the Pocket Michelle Wisdom book reminds us that while there may be people out there who are willing to help us, it is ultimately our responsibility to seek out and find those people.
It's easy to sit back and wait for opportunities to come to us, but the reality is that success often requires active pursuit. Whether it's seeking out mentors, networking with industry professionals, or applying for job opportunities, we need to take the initiative to put ourselves out there and make things happen.
This quote also highlights the importance of being proactive and taking ownership of our own lives. We can't expect others to do the work for us or to hand us success on a silver platter. Instead, we need to take charge of our own destiny and actively pursue the opportunities that we want.
Ultimately, this quote serves as a reminder that while there may be people out there who are willing to help us, we need to be proactive in seeking out those opportunities and taking ownership of our own success.
This quote emphasizes the importance of achieving success through honest and ethical means. It suggests that success is not truly meaningful or worthwhile unless it is earned "fair and square", meaning without cheating, lying, or cutting corners.
In today's world, where competition is fierce and the pressure to succeed can be intense, it can be tempting to take shortcuts or engage in unethical behavior in order to get ahead. However, this quote encourages us to resist that temptation and to strive for success in a way that aligns with our values and principles.
When we achieve success through honest and ethical means, we not only build a sense of pride and accomplishment, but we also earn the respect and admiration of others. On the other hand, if we resort to dishonest or unethical tactics to achieve our goals, we may achieve short-term success, but we risk damaging our reputation and losing the respect of others.
Overall, this quote reminds us that true success is not just about achieving our goals, but about doing so in a way that aligns with our values and principles. By staying true to ourselves and our principles, we can achieve success that is not only meaningful but also sustainable in the long run.
This quote is a powerful reminder that every scar we have serves as a reminder of our resilience and strength. It's easy to feel defeated or discouraged when we experience difficult or painful situations, but this quote encourages us to see these experiences in a different light.
When we go through challenging times, whether it's a physical injury or an emotional trauma, we often come out of it with scars. These scars can be physical or emotional, but they all serve as reminders of what we've been through and what we've overcome.
Instead of seeing our scars as something negative, this quote encourages us to see them as symbols of our strength and resilience. Our scars remind us that we've been hurt, but we've also survived. They remind us that we are capable of overcoming challenges and that we have the ability to keep moving forward even in the face of adversity.
Overall, this quote is a powerful reminder that our scars are not something to be ashamed of or to hide. Instead, they serve as a reminder of our strength and resilience, and they can inspire us to keep pushing forward and reaching for our goals.
"It’s not about what you’ve done; it’s about what you’re doing. It’s all about the journey."
This quote emphasizes the importance of the present moment and the journey towards success, rather than solely focusing on past achievements. It suggests that what truly matters is not what has been accomplished in the past, but what one is currently doing to achieve their goals.
By highlighting the journey, this quote encourages individuals to enjoy the process of achieving their goals, rather than just focusing on the end result. It reminds us that the experiences and growth that come from the journey are just as important, if not more so, than the outcome itself.
Furthermore, this quote suggests that the past is not necessarily an accurate reflection of one's potential or future success. Even if someone has not achieved great things in the past, it does not mean that they are incapable of doing so in the future. It is all about what they are doing now and how they are working towards their goals.
In summary, this quote encourages individuals to live in the present moment, embrace the journey towards their goals, and focus on what they are doing now to achieve success.
